I haven't watched House of Dragon but now I'm a little intrigued. The first intro I really noticed was GoT, because watching it meant you could always follow where they were without any need of littering the screen with text. It carefully laid out every important place with name and landmarks so you'd always know where in Westeros you were. I'm glad they managed to make a potentially even better intro for this show.

The funny thing being that she's been my favorite character from the start because she's so odd and off in the corner. I've been intrigued by her. I haven't read the books so idk her fate but I really hope she gets more time to shine and develop before it's her time to go. The actress does a fantastic job of bringing an ethereal quality to a character that could easily be seen as spacey or mopey.

He has VATs though. He outshot those two cannibals on the bridge and he knew something was off. That’s probably his best moment of competency.

What gets me is that they were able to avoid the Doom of Valyria but why is this so set in stone.

While Vault Tec undermined and destroyed America, I think Norm is going to undermine and destroy Vault Tec. Like you said, it's pretty much what he was born to do, so why not do as the masters did and destroy HIS masters? It all comes full circle. War never changes, etc etc.

I wanted to comment something insightful but I keep getting stuck in an existential crisis loop so I’ll just say “great vid! Keep it up” as a sacrifice to the algorithm gods

A detail that I think gets understated is Norm's response to pressure from the higher ups. "It's funny. How do you threaten someone who doesn't care about anything," is a wild line for someone we know cares for things. He cares for his family, the truth, and in his way, he cares about making things right.

Maximus feels 100% like someone's first playthrough, his S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and skill investment really shine through. Watching him pivot in effectiveness between different weapon types was great. Lucy has a second playthrough, typical vaulter build. Then of course there's Johnny O'ghoul McBadadass, king fuck of the wasteland, who definitely hit level 50 forever ago

I love your perspective on these characters and their stories. I hope you eventually take a look at the games as well because many of the characters, especially from the Interplay and Obsidian games are extremely deep wells to be mined for this kind of analysis.

That 8 episode Season was a bummer

At first I thought the “clever boy” was going to be Norm, but it turns out it was schnee. 😂😂😂

I find this interesting as fr some reason when the story didn't focus on the main three I was invested in Norm's storyline and hoping he could overcome vault life and find a place outside of it. His conclusion I was really confused by but this video helps articulate his overall arc and place in the narrative. Kind of tragic putting it in this perspective and I really like that, I hope that he can get some kind of subveison but I know it probably won't end in a good way. Great job! Also fun cameo by schnee!!

I didn’t consider that aspect of Norm. That he was always a manager and didn’t know it. That there is a bigger rat maze on top of the other rate maze. I liked Norms story for showing Vault life and the conspiracy in action. I ‘got’ it, but didn’t fully ‘get’ it until this video. Thanks!

As someone who practically lives and breathes lore videos: This was a fun watch/listen. I don't follow your channel, but your perspective was really insightful in spite of you saying you don't consume Song of Ice and Fire lore. I started out kinda being like "well of course you don't understand, you're ignoring the lore!" but ended on appreciating your take quite a lot. It was all stuff I knew or had observed myself, but it was cool to see how the show got you there in spite of you not being a lore fiend. Kind of an amazing compliment to the show (and obviously kudos to your powers of observation). Idk that I'd have gotten as much as you did without all the lore vids I usually watch.
