Really enjoyed the tutorial. It will really help going forward. However the title of the vid is kind of misleading as I have a some parts already copied that I wish to sever the link on. What you are explaining is how to create a new copy. Still a useful vid thanks for taking the time to make it for us newbs.
really good. See if you can try and make a AI HDRI workflow. gem of a channel.
Product Design Engineers typically do mechanical engineering in school.
You earned a subscribe @5:15 with the Karen bubble. :) lol
i miss the good old days when i could just pirate a version of autocad, fusion makes things so much more complicated than they need to be, or at least what im used to doing in autocad.
Thankyou for staying* *rick rolls*
I love these
This is so cool.
nice!
This video helped me a lot. I never thought about that a constraint will be put with my sketch when I click on the 0,0,0 point. Thats actually smart!
Yeah, you should place your mic somewhere else! The mouse clicks dont really matter but the hitting on the desk makes it a bit hard to focus
Especially if you have a headset on xD
The existence of such videos is the ultimate proof of 3D design failure to deliver something comprehensible which simply works...
I learnt something new from your video, particularly the last past.
Hey Adam, Great video, just wanted to ask any reason for converting the file .obj file to a .3mf file before taking it to Meshmixer? As mesh mixer does accept .obj files. Thank you.
there is some great primers for 200 dollars that are not kits like the anycubic Kobra Neo
Thanks so much, this helped out a ton with a holder I was trying to create, still plenty of things for me to learn with fusion, but this really helps out. I almost feel like i should get a geometry textbook to help relearn some of these tricks for making more and more things easier 6:00 for how to measure the distances between polygons
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1:1-5 Jesus equating Himself with the Great I AM - 54 Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God. 55 Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” 57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” John 8:54-58 News Flash. "I AM" is the same God as the One who created the heavens, the earth and everything/one in them. Just read the account of Moses and the burning bush and who God says sent Moses to Pharaoh. Also read Genesis 1:26 and see that the Creator is at least 2 parts and the third part/person was mentioned earlier, the Holy Spirit hovering over the surface of the deep. "26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Notice the plural pronouns Us and Our. If there is only One God who created everything/person then that must mean He is triune just like Jesus said over and over again in His earthly ministry years. Jesus Christ & the Father - 22 Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch. 24 Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him, “How long do You keep us in doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.” 25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. 26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.” John 10:22-30 The Holy Spirit - 12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. John 16:12-14
Getting the rail lines to 'intersect' the planes (I had 4 of them) is nearly impossible. Errors every time.
3: 25 I create a circle, I was not able to move the circle
This is extremely helpful. I appreciate how clear and direct you are with this.
LEFT CLICK ON 3D PRINT AYE NOPE BRINGS UP DIFFERENT MENTU AND TAKES YOU OUT OF DESIGN WHAT THEN TRHIS IS A TUTORIAL IF WITHOUT ANY SOFTWARE SETUP. POINTLESS AND NO HELP WHAT SO EVER
i struggled a lot trying to put patterns which don‘t look horrible. very good teached with all the referencing! and today i learned that i can use D for one of my most used tools. thanks a lot!!
very helpful! im learning piece by piece since 2 years and I already made big improvements. you give great tips and explanain it well for newbies :-)
Tutorial starts around 4:00
Yes I need a small light weight dethermalizer ( look it up) that is not electrical maybe someone could start a garage company
I am attempting to make a carbon fiber shell for a Velomobile and was able to import the Stl file into Meshmixer and then into Fusion360. I can split the shell as you have shown with the soda can. I need to make ribs or the design shape so that I can print the patterns, trace and cut them on foam, and then construct a foam core that will serve as the template to apply the carbon fiber. Do you have any advice on how I can make ribs so that I can eventually make a foam model of my shape? Thank you.
Why on earth is this tutorial so hard to find on TH-cam? Thank you so much!
This only works if you have the paid version of fusion 360... geometric pattern is not available in the free creator/hobbyist version.
As mentioned within the first 20 seconds of this video.
I wouldn't call this a solid body, it's still hallow with wall width of ~0
My God i love this emboss the old way was so janky! I'm about to make the crap out of some jack o lanterns!!
Awesome! Thanks very much.
This trick worked once. Just in a section of my piece. The second section would not extrude into the body without removing the outline of the font. The select each triangle method took me several hours, but it worked every time. Any ideas as to why this would only do it for the first part but not the second rectangle I attempted to extrude into joining the body? A trick like this is very useful, but consistency is even more useable imo.
Hi Adam, question @ timeline 42.00 when i select "rectangular pattern" my window does not contain all your features, for example " Directions" is this due to working with the free version?
Thank you Adam, much appreciated.
FUnny thing is that this doesn't work for creations with a large number of parts. Like an arcade token.
Waste of time.
ty bro
Need more such content... Was trying to find that is such feature available? Posted on fusion forum also but couldn't find
Exactly what i was looking for! Ty man ur goat
jesus christ. I drew a petal, and then multiplied to create a flower now it has a constraint on EVERY. SINGLE. POINT. I can't select them all. I have to manually click each point, then a constraint will show up, I select it and delete this is a torture
Epik 👍 First!
In the final segment regarding separating assembly files into their own components. What is the advance to this, as compared using Insert:Derive. With Derive your component will update if its original file changes. Thanks your time, appreciate your willingness to share your skills!
Awesome - I also now understand offset planes. 🙏
What a waste of time. Complete dumpster fire of a video.
I have been watching a lot of 3d printing start uo videos for beginners like myself. But one thing i noticed is that it’s rare for someone to talk about the considerations of where you can setup in your home. Not everyone has a spare room or a basement, here in the UK, to isolate the printer. Some say there fumes to consider, air temp and humidity, etc.
And if I do not want to have triangular faces like that? Or if I want to join something that is already in a step file to something I converted from mesh to solid body?
Awesome video. It took me a lot pause and rewind to apply to my design. Your explanation was spot on, it just took me a bit to "get it". Thanks again for an instructor quality demo.
Excellent tutorial. I have another tool in my toolbox thanks to you.
I get all the way to file and save, 3d print etc are not available.
hours and hours and clicking every option I could find. All boils down the offset plane!!! Thank you
