Hey Williams, I'm having the same problem, after leaving the phone on the Wireless charger for 15,20 min, how long should I wait between unplugig and pluging the phone should I wait?

I have a note 8 that I have been holding on to since 2018. It happened to me several times, the first being 17 days after I bought it, and the recent one being a couple of days ago. I have tried everything, I almost gave up thinking that my phone has just given up given that it is old. I came across this video and did exactly what you said (and I am not one to follow instructions, ditto) IT WORKED!!!! Thank you so much

I have a solution to give you if you drop your phone in water ( that's if it's water resistant). Dry the charging port with a towel and then the water 💧 log ⚠️ warning will show then make sure your AC is running cold 🥶 put your phone 📱 facing the charger port towards the open vent and the cold air from your AC will dry it out, then put your charger in and your phone will start charging 😀 . I know this because it happen to me.

Worked for me too! It kept not lighting up but I’d get a vibrate when I plugged the cord in so I left it on the wireless charger and plugged in while I ran an errand and when I came back, it was on and charged. Thank you so much!

It works like a charm on my 1 week old new S8 battery.. after dead for a while. After so many attemp pressing here and there for seconds and seconds and seconds.. then i decided to buy new original made in korea battery and it went dead again after 0, coz i forgot to check the batt... agaennn... so this is the solution for battery probs definitely. Thank youuu soo much...

I have a Galaxy Note 9 phone that will charge on some outlets, but not on others. My Galaxy 9 phone used to work on bedroom outlet, but suddenly stopped charging in the last couple of days. I checked the breakers, and they were all turned on. However, it works great on USB charger that is built in to the recliner, and works on bathroom outlet. I have used different outlets, chargers and cables, but that hasn't helped with the charging in the bedroom.

My note 8 i used a different charger so now am using the phone charger and it start charging very well later it will burn the charger so i dont understand how to do with the phone please i need ur help

This fix workes! You need to be patient for starting it up. It will show you logo and then black for multiple times and then suddenly it starts up. Then take it off the wireless charger and let it load for a while. Do not unplug it! Cheers William! It was a lifesaver

Sounds good. I was at 5% watching youtube and i plugged in charger , Fell asleep watching youtube and woke up in morning . Dead. Tried everything. Feel helpless. Btw its a note 9. Never dropped or gotten it wet. Your advise will helpfully revive my phone. Any thoughts anyone?

Hello William, my sincere thanks - I thought my phone lost until I found your brilliant post. I'm still in the process of trying to fix my phone using the process similar to that adopted by Performance MP3 and was hoping for some advice. I started the process by leaving the phone on the wireless charger for an hour, then plugged it in to the quick charger, then lifted it off the wireless charger and pressed the down volume + Bixby + power buttons, with the quick charger still plugged in. What I got was a light blue screen (no mascot) with a central rectangle containing a downward arrow and below the rectangle it says "Downloading... Do not turn off target" . Then below that it says "Volume down key + Power Key for more than 7 secs: Cancel (restart phone)". Since MP3 had a similar response I was hoping either one of you could tell me how long I should leave the phone on the blue screen - it's been an hour so far, and I've still not gotten the Android recovery menu that MP3 did. The instruction is not clear to me - should I use the volume down and power keys for >7 sec to restart the phone, or will that cancel the restart?

I'm in the same situation & looking forward to trying this method (the charging dock linked here is "unavailable").

Yes it worked, I had to try two different wireless chargers before it finally came one. But YES is works. It REALLY WORKS. May apply to other phones. But on the Galaxy Note 8 it works. Just dont go to ZERO and you will be OK, but if for some reason it goes to ZERO this will revive it.

I DUNKED MINE IN SALT WATER AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP AND WENT FROM 0% TO 100% IN ABOUT 3 SECONDS WITHOUT EVEN BEING ON A CHARGER

i used the unplug every 30 sec method and it work its a chance thing u basically end up jump starting your phone lol
