This is a once in a lifetime experience. These fish are as long as 2 car lengths or more!! Completely worth it, the guides are very knowledgeable and also they only let 2 people off the boat at the time for the best experience. Made me lough how some people actually decided to NOT jump into the water with the whale sharks at the last minute and actually just watched from the boat. I've done skydiving and this does not even come close to the thrill. However, it is a really great experience and it's highly recommended!!
