this was amazing. gabbys gymnastics across all events is gorgeous. the toe point, the flexbillty, the acrobatics. she was the full package.

I’m not gonna say that racism and gymnastics does not exist just like another sports. It’s they’re loud and proud. But I don’t think it’s fair to say that a white gymnast got there simply because they were white. That is just as racist as saying as a black gymnast, got there because of the color of their skin.

Gabby has always been a beautiful gymnast. Period. Mykayla has bad technique and form neither of which were ever corrected.

I told yall months ago that gymnastics is not ready for the direction in which it has been going: black women at the top! The podium just solidified the face of the sport that they don't want. THAT is why they quickly took that bronze, because it nullifies the results of all blk women on the podium...for now!

I’ve seen so much hate across the world for US gymnasts. All of them, bust especially for the black gymnasts. People really hate Simone Biles the most and it’s really sad to see. When you win too much, people pray for your downfall. They have an idea of who and what a champion should be and it’s not a black woman. I’ve been watching this sport since 1992. It’s blatant more today than ever (the hate/racism).
