All her floor routines have been spectacular (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020... 2021 was not good but it was her flop injury-filled year)

Your selection was pretty damn good ! I like Jade and yes she's a great tumbler, vaulter too, but she is not exciting to watch and dancing is a huge part of good floor work ! She just doesn't put in the pizass
I agree with every single one of these, wow! Especially Shilese. Even now, I’m seeing people predicting that she’ll get 2 PC’d out of everything in Paris if Gabby and Suni are on the team. And I’m excited for Gabby, and I like Suni, but Shilese is the one who’s won two AA medals and two UB medals in those code while Suni is struggling to put a whole UB routine together due to her health problems. I’m not counting Shi out for AA or UB, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s the second American in the BB final because BB is unpredictable, and Shi got two BB scores over 14 at the last Worlds.

I just can’t wait to see what she does in competition this year .. years after Rio, facing public scrutiny… this can be one of the greatest gymnastics comebacks and I love how you pointed out that Gabby never truly gave us her full potential and I AGREE with that. Which is why I’m so excited to see what she brings to the table for this quad .. she could possibly be at her best at 28 years of age breaking records again!!! The entire video was great commentary overall and highlighted the beautiful gymnastics all of these gymnasts have displayed in their careers I loved ALL of it!!!!

I think she will get bars back, but the question is how well will she get them back. She dislocated her shoulder last year, so I hope for her. I NEED Ellie as a world champion.
Nina is a good one. She slayed on beam at the WC, and took that Olympics spot like a boss. Her bars are fab but her floor and beam are also lovely and strong. She’s a great AA gymnast but is basically known as a bar’s specialist. Great list, and 💯 agreed on Jade. Another good example of a gymnast that is a strong AAer but is more known for her power/tumbling. And was glad to see Shilese on this list. She’s been so good at the last couple Worlds and is pretty much just as potent a force for team USA as Simone. She has been at least slightly overshadowed.

Ellie is extremely competent, I personally don't think she is underrated because her gymnastics is tasteless to me, but we can always count on her to deliver
Langston did make a good point though about Ellie actually bringing some really unique skills and combos to the table while also winning some historic medals for Canada. She did get Canada WAG their first AA medal even, and she also led them to that team bronze. I get if her gymnastics still doesn’t do it for you, but I’d say that she has some flavor, especially with her UB skill. She’s one of the few people out there who can actually get her Tkatchev 1/2 skill credited.

Ellie Black is fairly rated as well but her AA consistency throughout the decade is impressive. I think other underrated gymnasts in the last decade: Tang Xijing, Yeo Seojong, Angelina Melnikova (the 3 Russians at Tokyo really - US winning silver was seen as a failure from the US team/Simone pulling out rather than the Russians leveling up and ranking #4-6 at AA quals), Becky Downie, Alicia Sacramone (legacy overshadowed by Beijing team final), Eli Seitz, maybe Alice D'Amato, maybe Alice Kinsella, maybe Wang Yan
Melnikova is arguably overrated. TXJ is a joke in terms of consistency. Definitely Yeo and I only put gymnasts who won actual medals you know that. My channel is focused on black women issues as gabby & rebe don’t get the respect they deserve compared to white gymnasts like Komova & Jordyn with Gabby. As well as Flavia & Melnikova compared to Rebeca.
Nina is not overrated, everybody agrees that she is the best Bar Worker nowadays and nobody said she didn’t deserved her medals. And she has a great chance to be only the 3rd gymnast to defend an Olympic title
Gabby only really beat Maggie Nichols once at the american cup in 2016. If Maggie got to bars at world's in quals in 2015 she'd be in the AA instead of Gabby (needed less than 13). That's not hate, just facts.
Her top scores beat Maggie nichols top scores at the world championships so no 😂. And again the American cup was the most important competition and Maggie lost by .5 despite getting overscored. She also only beat Komova once but in the most important competition.

I think other underrated gymnasts in the last decade: Tang Xijing, Yeo Seojong, Angelina Melnikova (the 3 Russians at Tokyo really - US winning silver was seen as a failure from the US team/Simone pulling out rather than the Russians leveling up and ranking #4-6 at AA quals), Becky Downie, Alicia Sacramone (legacy overshadowed by Beijing team final), Eli Seitz, maybe Alice D'Amato, maybe Alice Kinsella, maybe Wang Yan
Melnikova is arguably overrated. TXJ is a joke in terms of consistency. Definitely Yeo and I only put gymnasts who won actual medals you know that. My channel is focused on black women issues as gabby & rebe don’t get the respect they deserve compared to white gymnasts like Komova & Jordyn with Gabby. As well as Flavia & Melnikova compared to Rebeca.

Nina is not overrated, everybody agrees that she is the best Bar Worker nowadays and nobody said she didn’t deserved her medals. And she has a great chance to be only the 3rd gymnast to defend an Olympic title

Gabby only really beat Maggie Nichols once at the american cup in 2016. If Maggie got to bars at world's in quals in 2015 she'd be in the AA instead of Gabby (needed less than 13). That's not hate, just facts.
Her top scores beat Maggie nichols top scores at the world championships so no 😂. And again the American cup was the most important competition and Maggie lost by .5 despite getting overscored. She also only beat Komova once but in the most important competition.
Maggie’s TF scores weren’t enough to beat Gabby’s AA scores so please
