Inherent Vice - 'Everything in this Dream'
If she didn't do something, there would soon be NO House of Woodcock. It would die with Reynolds. Hate it or love it-it's true. Cursed confirmed bachelors have no heirs.
Siempre he querido saber cómo logran ese efecto como brumoso blanco en algunas escenas. Alguien sabe cómo lo hacen?
Que hermosas fotos todas.
How idiotic was those times in nineteen. How idiotic where we to obey.
Don’t know why he cut out all the shots that make the movie feel more lived in instead of the constant closeups.
Fear should be running this country
We need more movies like this 60s and 70s Los Angeles 😍
“Concentrated around us are always mysterious spirit forces just past the threshold of human perception, occupying both worlds, these critters enjoy nothing better than to mess with those of us still attached to the thick & sorrowful catalogues of human desire… you fucking idiot.” The acid is finally kicking in lmao
Hello! Does anyone know the name of the first song? I saw that others are curious too in the comments. I know this song appears in the scene where Alana dances at night at Bernie's Waterbed and sees Gary and that other girl...(if you know you know, i dont wanna spoil it). I love this piece but can't seem to find it on the Soundtrack, if anyone knows please tell me! Thanks! Love this movie❤❤❤
Love Inherent Vice. Love everything PTA does.
Adam Somner as Gary>
Thank you so much for posting this
Licorice Pizza, modern classic.
another movie that I love so much more the 4th-5th time I’ve seen it than the first time. that opening piano demo is fantastic
👍💓💓💓
Brilliant.
a movie with lots of nice shots, but basically without a plotline.
1:45-1:60 I love how he's longing to touch her but doesn't do it not to spoil the moment 🥰🥰
Nice...this sequence and others did not appear in the official theatrical release....huh....stupid....this was the psychological meat of the interior psyche of Docs mind.....in removing it...much of the film made no unified statement...this NOW really TIES THE ROOM 2GETHTER......
can someone figure out the camera used for these photographs???
such a great movie
This is such an amazing, enjoyable (and 100% required) byproduct of film-making. Love This!
Fuckin' hell this is beautiful
Wack.
This movie has always felt like the introverted cousin to Fear and Loathing, at least as far as the bleakness of the end of the hippie scene kinda goes.
Yeah, both films really captured how capitalism sucked the energy of the 60s to make profit of it. Fear and Loathing depicted how former hippies used drugs to alienate themselves from reality, as opposed to gain a higher understanding to live differently in real life. Inherent Vice depicted how there will always be an opportunity for profit as long as the American Dream is something to be escaped from.
Best American life period movie since American Graffiti. Except the acting is better with these two unkowwn stars. I cant stop watching it over and over again. Cant even explain that.
Alana Haim is a member of the huge band "Haim", and Cooper Hoffman is the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman's son.
Dazed and confused is more enjoyable and rewatchable.

Just looked it up and this movie lost like 7-10 million dollars. Thats really sad, people dont appreciate the good stuff like they should, until its too late.

I'm glad they had fun making the pedo film.
What an amazing movie!!! Wooow!!!
Why would people expect Martin to live through this series? Lmao.
Faak 🤣😵
I wonder how long Danielle will look like she is 21? I swear sometimes she looks like the youngest, I would never guess she is 33.
That was actually a really good behind the scenes. Like its own documentary.
Does anyone know the name of the tiune @7:32?
Jonny Greenwood - Licorice Pizza
@@TheGunner6969 Bless you kind sir.
beautiful
Lovely
The entire masks on - masks off thing makes zero sense.
I find it rather infuriating how illogical it is; as well as the fact that kids were kept out of school for over a year and families prevented from properly saying goodbye to loved ones, but Hollywood got to keep Hollywooding-- just with masks...some of the time.
This is the best movie that I have seen in a long, long time.
There is more of the wall of Sandsackes scene in the behind the scenes than in the movie.

Easily one of my favorite directors of all times. What a snapshot of life this movie was. You can tell the actors we’re having a blast.
PTA genius
The very strong slobbering over this movie caused inflated ratings and reviews but didn't make it a profit because in the end, pretty much no one cared. I thought it was boring and thin, written to make everyone fall in love with the characters who were in turn, boring reruns of what we've seen since the 80s coming of age teen flicks. Not even the forced placement of Penn, Cooper, and Waits could save it. And not even ripping off the catchy name of a popular Southern California record chain could save it. PTA may have thought he made a 21st century Fast Times clone, but this was plodding and tedious.
Plot and archetypes wise, yeah, I tend to agree. But the movie has that visual flow and rhythm, nevermind the performances, that makes it feel anxious and honest and raw. American Graffitti to me is more forced than this. The romantic aspects are authentic despite being sort of shallow compared to other PTA romances. It's no Punch Drunk Love or Phantom Thread, but maybe it didn't need to be. Personally I'll always look forward to any PTA movie, he always gets the mood and rhythm of his characters and plots just right. (Honestly I never bothered to watch Fast Times).
@@radusocol2613 Your opinion is moot if you never took the time to watch the Iconic fast Times. Go away now.
Who's the old guy ? Someone I should know ?
Amazing thanks so much for sharing this, long may these videos keep coming with future films!
