How difficult would it be to just remove or disable the lights at the top of the controllers? Do I need to disassemble the whole thing?

I was thinking of getting a Nxyi Warrior at some point

Just dropped mine off the couch and it won’t connect to the switch. The switch will still charge through it tho so I know it still has some juice running through it. Thinking about cracking it open and seeing if something was knocked loose, any suggestions?

What brand are these optical switches from in the face button?

Is there anybody that can give me information for parts number on the USB C Port that connects the switch to the Nitro deck? the port is broken on my nephews and it doesn't look to be that hard of a soldering job to replace it.

It's a shame it's so difficult to get into. One of my buttons has lost its clicky press (but it's not sticking) & it kind of bugs me.

The Retroflag Handheld Controller is awesome AF! Really hate you didn't like it. After coming across a video for this controller on TH-cam, back in April of this year, I've purchased 2 of them so far, and it's the only way I've been playing in Handheld Mode ever since. Couldn't ever see myself going back to the regular Joy-Cons now. The only gripe I've ever had with it, is its lack of a cutout for easier access to the game card slot on the Switch, which requires sliding the Switch out, just a touch, to access the card slot fully, and easier, too. However, I fully agree with you about the Nitro Deck, wasn't a big fan of it, and actually gave mine away after using it for a very short time. I didn't like the programmable buttons on the back of it, either. The only thing it did right, however, was it did have a cutout around the game card area. Other than that, I didn't like it. Everything else was better with the Retroflag, though, especially the button layouts.

Hey, Do you think if you could possibly do the KDYGPDCT wii mote if possible? The colors on them look so good, but I'm scared they'll be even worse than this switch controller!

isnt stick control for splatoon worse than motion control? how is this 'the best controller' for a game that more optimally plays with the default switch layout?

Splatoon was never a Switch game to me. The true experience comes from the Wii U.

it is funny that as Xbox 360 controller it works for the PS3. I bought it for like 7-8 dollars and it is one of the best options for a PS3 Aftermarket controller (a market that isnt flooded like the PC market)

So the d-pad is an entire shaft, interesting. Wonder how good it would be for fighting games

tear down was helpful. My R button wouldn’t register at the edge closest to the screen/rail and also had a slight rattle. After opening up the controller and looking at the bumper my controller had a piece that broke off and the button was able to go too far into the controller. I wedged a cut zip tie folded onto itself between the shell of the controller and the grey bumper piece and the issue was solved; in case that helps anyone with the same issue.

Should I get powerA gamecube wired controller or not? Is it good quality? I want to use it for like 5 years or more can it last that long or more?

mine are just off, I don't even remember how to turn them back on, not that I want to, waste of power, also I need to block or dim the top ones, those are a bit too bright for me

I recently got one of these and all my face buttons are sticking bad. Was refunded and told to keep the controller. Wanted to do some maintenance on it but I'm not super handy. Anything you'd recommend to try to fix the jssue? Rubbing alcohol on a qtip works for a while, but not long after they go back to sticking again. So disappointing.

Have you tried the 8bitdo Ultimate controller(s)? There's the more expensive version w/ Hall Effect sticks, then one that costs less but has regular ALPS joysticks, and then there are the $30 Ultimates which don't come with back buttons or gyro. I have the Hall Effect one and it is fantastic for both PC and Switch use.

You should tear down the binbok gemini pro controller. They are cheaper than this binbok ultra pro controller, yet it includes some higher end features like hall effect sticks, and HD rumble. Curious to see how it is quality wise in comparison.

Does anyone have a fix for my problem the LED lights keep flickering and it only works when I don’t have it connected to the switch but if I try to play it on handheld mode, the lights start blinking and it doesn’t want to connect to handheld

Hey, my switch got stuck in the nitro deck, I think it’s because of the skin, do you think that it’s possible to get it out by taking the nitro deck apart?
