Love your videos even though there is no controller that we would agree on. Nevertheless thanks to your videos I can buy controllers that are right for me.😁
I honestly really regret my purchase of this thing, I even got the nitrodeck case expecting to really love it and make it my main handheld mode but the right joystick hurts my thumb in long term play. I assumed it was because I was too used to the Steamdeck but I'm glad to see others don't find it comfortable either. Release mechanism is also awful, need to put pressure on the screen just to get the thing out
Forgot to mention a further deal breaker is the awful rumble. I didn't mind the lack of HD Rumble but I didn't think the rumble on this thing would be so absolutely obnoxious on games that are designed to use HD rumble
The straight up down design combined with the bulk makes these soooooooo uncomfortable. I like big, but it needs to be big with ergonomics in mind. A lot of comments that I've read from people that actually used this thing and are not doing an "honest review" talk about disliking it. They're just overruled by the massive amount of videos and articles out there lifting Nitro Deck up on a pedestal. And for sixty dollars! And more for the special edition! Insane. Although I didn't notice that issue. Mine released quite easily.
@@Fel1xKatzeI'm not a rumble user at all, but I think companies do need to switch to linear actuators. I expect it'll happen for all but the most inexpensive of controllers. Oh, and for controllers from junk companies that don't care about providing a good product; they'll always do as little as possible.
I pre-ordered the GameCube version after it was announced and most definitely regret it. Aside from the uncomfortable design mine is flawed. It's a bit loose (and I have a Switch OLED), too flexible, and the kickstand likes to pop out on its own. Very disappointed, especially since it was $90 because it came with a case (at least it's a great case).
@@danny.thrash I didnt have any problems with my OLED's kickstand popping out, but yeah likewise i got the gamecube version and highly regret it. Dudes capitalized on our nostalgia and when it first came out i feel like they paid people to give good reviews of this thing because i couldent find much bad reviews until after i bought it. Shit has the rumble of a $10 Wish controller. Cant help but feel like we were played good
