You have done a great thing creating this program to help people learn the scriptures. As this training video is for beginners I advise you to slow down. You jump quickly from pane to pane without showing what symbol you’re clicking on. I tried to follow along on my laptop but became completely frustrated. Please show more details for us beginners. And I’m not unfamiliar with a computer. I wrote bid proposals and training manuals for employees. I would like to see you improve your training to the point where it feels like it’s fun to use. This is such a great tool, but if people get frustrated with it they won’t use it. ❤

Why is everyone neglecting to mention the eclipse that happened at exactly the midpoint between the seven year period? No coincidence there. The earth was created spiritually before it was created physically. They were cast down to the spiritual earth, then it was embodied but they were not reminding them of their damned state void of progression and bodies.

I had an app for my iPad for the scriptures. It was never available for the iPhone. I paid for it, and I had all my notes on it and now it is gone - notes and all. They no longer support the app and it no longer works - at all. I worry about that type of thing happening again with this app. I just can't take the risk to lose everything I have done for years with the ending of an app. How can I trust that this same thing will not happen with this subscription?

That is not correct that Jesus was not the Christ until after the resurrection. Christ means "anointed one," which really started in the pre-mortal existence. See also John chapter 7.

2 different plates makes sense. Abridged record vs small plates of Nephi. 30 pounds vs 60 pounds. Abridged record was sealed the record of nephi wasn't and that's why none of the witnesses mentioned a sealed portion. Brigham young said plates went back to repository Joseph said the angel took them back. 2 different sets.

I wonder why the abridged plates had to be placed in their own box instead of left in the repository with the other records. Maybe it was to test Joseph's trustworthiness before giving him full knowledge of the repository?

@scripturenotes : Jonah Barnes is not unlike the Shakespearean theatre actor who gives off the "Look at me... look at me..." vibe. He somehow needs to constantly remind us, more and more about how utterly wonderful and talented he is. Over and over pointing his finger back at himself and his vast knowledge and talent - the one thing we are the least interested in. Perhaps Jonah could use a couple of days in the belly of a whale to white out his bombastic boorish nature.

I like to read the initial account of Zeniff with 2 Nephi 5 in mind. Zeniff knew the early history of Nephi and wanted to reclaim those glory days where they lived after the manner of happiness in the Land of Nephi. But the exception is his narrative reads more secular (Large Plates) than the narrative of Nephi from the Small Plates. Nephi talks about building a temple and consecrating priests and teachers. Zeniff's record doesn't reference those things though it appears they did have them.

Thank you for this! Im a Pentacostal evangelical believer from Finland and have never been in any contact with mormons or LDS church. However, I love the same Jesus as you and once had a strong spiritual experience that led me to this research path where Im now listening to guys like Wayne. The Lord told me one day as I was reading the book of Ezekiel this: "The vision of Ezekiel is about the USA". I heard it clear as day. I didnt undertand what it meant and kept praying about it and then the Spirit told me to get a copy of the book of Mormon and read it. I hope this encourages Wayne and others that you're on the right path and that the Lord can speak to a foreigner like me about the same thing you're saying. The house of Israel that Ezekiel prophesied to was truly in the USA!!! Blessings!

It would be great to have tutorials on how to use the website with an ipad. I've purchased a subscription and got most of the features to work but it's pretty tricky. Highlighting and tagging seem to be impossible.

I was surprised Jonathan endorsed Richard Bushman and didn’t think he was a big fan of him . Due to the fact Richard Bushman is the one of the historians spear heading certain ideas of cultic magical forces during the translation process, using the seer stone to translate instead of the UT, and the use of 2nd, 3rd hand accounts over first hand accounts. I like Jonathan , but it seems he is riding on the coat tails of all the work Hannah Stoddard has done but people seem to brush her aside and not take her seriously. I think the church historians have not done any favors to the church with the Saints book and church essays. It was their chance to come clean but they blew it again. Did it shake my testimony. No. It just only enforces the idea that we all need to do our own research like the Stoddards and Jonathan ,who are not “trained” experts . If they can figure it out then so can we. Most importantly stay close to the basics of Joseph Smith was called of God, the Book of Mormon was translated by the power of God, Jesus is the Christ and God is our Father in Heaven. The rest as you were trying to say is fluff.
