This is Jimmy's cold weather jacket.. made of Gore-Tex and 100% waterproof with a thermal winter liner.. He wears this below minus 5 Celsius ..otherwise his own natural 'winter body hair' keeps him warm !! Jimmy moults from Summer to Winter.. and his Winter hair is really thick !! 🐾🐾

Nice jumper! Love the blue gray RAF colour on this one. You could knit Jimmy a tiny one for these colder days 😂 Got lucky myself in the thriftshop recently, bought myself a pre 1970 Dutch Navy coat (based on the the British WWII duffle coat, but with buttons and in dark blue wool). Very warm!

Yeah, I think that you're correct and the rank slides once had gilt VR-T clasps. Can't say that I like V - necks, much prefer the regular army version.
Hey Al bro ! ..yeah I ordered a pair of the VR-T clasps and the claws fitted perfectly ! The V-neck is worn with a shirt and a tie ..very RAF 'Lardy da !' lol.. Yes the little village has a rich history. It used to be part of Germany and was a very affluent cloth making area called Meffersdorf unt Wigandsthal. It belonged to the burgraviate of Świecie (Schwerta) Castle, a possession of King John of Bohemia since 1329. Nowadays sadly it is just a run down 💩 hole ! lol

Hey Mike bro ! ..when I lived in Australia I used to pick kiwi fruit at a farm in Southern Australia not so far from Adelaide.. they grow on trees that have a vine like characteristic ! Try this for the ultimate Summer smoothie !! 3 peeled kiwi fruit 1 mango ( peeled, stoned and chopped) 500ml pineapple juice 1 banana (sliced) Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth (you can add a blob of vanilla ice cream..) then chill and pour into tall glasses... awesome mate !!
