If i am going to retire in seim reap cambodia i am not eating western food at all i try to learn Cambodian language live among local people that means real lovely lifestyle thanks for great videos ❤ from Dallas tx USA
Really nice vlog! Me and my wife miss Koh Samet, this brings us memories!
I'm in Siem Reap right now. I arrived a few days ago. I like it so much better than Thailand. The only thing I don't like is being pestered by the tuk tuk drivers constantly. It's the slow season so they are desperate. When you say no thank you to the ride they then move into propositioning you with various illegal vices lol. Other than that this is a great place. If you come during tourist season I'm guessing you won't run into this problem.
Oh wow I didn't have that experience with the tuktuk drivers 😅 but I hope you had fun on your trip!
@@ninaraj They are desperate in the slow season. A few told me their sob stories about how little money they are making until September again.
Welcome to Cambodia ❤
thank you!
Beautiful drone shots , great sharing from beautiful places 🙂👍
Thank you 💛💛
Cool vibes and great music in your video.
Thank you so much! 😊

Yes.sure.becose areas around Angkor not only Angkor wat temple in unisco since 1992.
Didn't realise citizens of Western countries need a visa to enter cambodia. Citizens of Southeast asian countries don't need a visa. 30 days visa free to stay in cambodia
that's interesting! had no idea. I always recommend doing your own research about entry requirements because they can really vary! Thank you for watching <3
Yeah I noticed I didn’t see tall building too and I think maybe the Government doesn’t allow to build higher than the top of the Angkor Temple correct me if I’m wrong.
I think you're right! some commenters said the same thing.
@@ninaraj Yeah, and that's why I like the place it's unique and relaxing. I mean that everywhere in the world there are tall buildings, please keep Siem Reap like this forever.
@@user-dx4ux5um5wdefinitely!
Just imagine what Angkor Wat would have looked if the war didn’t happen. It was brothers against brothers at that temple which is why there are remnants of bullet holes. And looters scramble to saw off any statues to pawn them off. My grandpa was really close, maybe a few yards/meter away when he fought against the communist. He yelled “Do you want to eat my flesh? Why do you want to kill me?” at the communist. No replies back was when he realized the enemy he was fighting had no moral grounds. This is one of the reason why my family fled before the Khmer Rouge took over. My grandpa awareness was why my family is still here today. He didn’t want to leave his land, his livestocks, and his village like so many other Cambodians during this time period.
Wow. I can't even imagine how difficult that must have been. Thank you for sharing this with us 🤍

The beach you showed as playa del moro is one I know as playa Alzada and is as you said beautiful, perfect for naturist use as are the beaches on most of the island😊
Ohh I see thanks for correcting 🤎 yes very beautiful indeed 🥹
Hi, a lovely video of my hometown, here just some remarks: 1) Regarding your love of Asian, or Vietnamese better to say, cuisine - we have the largest Vietnamese community in the Czech rep. in the whole EU. They came here as guest workers when we were occupied by the USSR and after the Velvet revolution in 1989 they decided to stay. We value them a lot, as they're hardworking and their kids are usually among the best in our schools... You can find top restaurants therefore, especially in Prague... 2) Second, the fact, that we are the most atheistic country in the world dates back to the 15th century, when a mass uprising in form of Hussite wars happened, then was followed in the 30 years war 1618 - 1648 till the WWI end in 1918, when we got our independence from Austro-Hungarian empire... It's hard and long to explain, but basically these were mostly religious wars, so it simply stuck with us, the hate to be forced to believe... Then from 1948 till the 1989 we were occupied by the USSR and if you know, the Soviets hated religion, they have even killed and tortured some of our remaining priests.... But we are the 8th safest country in the world therefore (not only because of that of course)... 3) The shooting on December the 21st was really a huge shock for the entire nation, as it never ever happened before... The guy, a student at the Charles University, has killed 14 people + himself when he was surrounded by the police... There are a lot of horrific videos on youtube..
Hello, thank you so much for your detailed comment and for informing me about things I was wondering about. I really appreciate comments like these! 🤍

The eras of Cambodia genocide were not started during the Khmer Roug. Cambodia was under foreign occupation for more than 200 years before the 16 years of Norodom Sihanouk independent. The digging of the Vin-Te Canal era under Emperor Minh Mang was just as bad as the genocide during the Khmer Rouge era. Those in power during the Khmer Rouge were all descended from those had power during Cambodia was under foreign occupation before the French protectorate. This part of Cambodia history was the real responsibility for historian to tell, but its seem like every author truncated this part of history. After all the digging of the Vin-Te Canal was 30 year before the French protectorate in 1862.
