Less crime doesn't mean no crime. Yes Singapore is pretty safe in general most kids are able to go to school alone riding the public transport but we always remain vigilant and not take things for granted around here. If you're comparing it to your country then I say you have a valid view about this issue. Glad you guys had a great time here, only the humid weather is an everyday crime lol!

Founding father, Mr LKY, was our chief garderner, he would bring in interesting plants whenever he was on his trips and testing in Istana grounds before greening the whole of Singapore.

Glad that you enjoyed your stay. But you did said something right, discipline = freedom, this is true in Singapore. We exercise some self restraint here and there for the overall good of the country!

That is why Singaporean work hard instead of protesting for more pay or riot which is prohibited & not good for the country. If you stay in this city, you will go with the flow.

there was a recent riot in little india in singapore when south asia foreign workers here broke out that police cars were put on fire and over-flipped, everywhere fire and glass bottles with alcohol fire flung everywhere, roads were glass pieces and fire..., police chief commisioner was sacked... singaporeans were shocked...

Reading through some your super negative comments, one sees how hateful you are of Singapore. Seemingly you fit the description of a vocal minority that hates anyone who are better than you in life achievement. Harboring such thoughts persistently will definitely sent your mental and physical health on a speedy downward spiral. Better for you to seek counseling before it is too late !!!

Sad. But crime will always happen. I still think is way better than for example UK. If you murder someone you are going to be hanged in Singapore, life for life. Meanwhile, in the UK or 95% of other countries, someone murders someone, and they get 8-25 years in prison depending on circumstances. Not even mentioning the "corruption law" that is in place in Singapore, where you can forget about it in the West, people are so corrupt lie to you in the eyes and you can't do anything to them

Wow.. u took some effort to consolidate and I'm sure u wrote this with an agenda in mind. But having live in many countries including developed one, this island is super safe. Now I'm wondering why are u living here if u think otherwise. 😂

@@BlackForesterSUV I know right, he really setting his mind with all negatives. Every city has its negatives, I could go on and on about how where I live and what I don't like it here but we should look more at positives. I been into many cities aswell and Singapore was the safest I felt, super clean, organized everything logical. The only complaint I could say was that there were not many things to complain about lol.

"it is so safe here that they have to remind citizens of low crimes does not mean no crime"? noelah, the truth is singapore is high crime as the authorities know it but citizens do not want to know or talk about it, go read some local newspapers so many crimes everyday. a 25yo sg female after party 2am was over in orchard road, walked alone here, she so proud shouted,"sg is safest for women"!. suddenly a local indian man 40yo, just released from prison, stopped her and impersonated as a plain clothes police threatened her of suspect drugs on her, dragged her and raped her twice till 5am... . in 2020, a NS man 23yo (local non-chinese) he used facebook to look for young girls, harassed, threatened, forced them to come out meet in hotels and sex attacked NINETEEN school girls age 12,13,14yo and he was sentenced to 22year jail. a indonesia father heard "sg is safest" and no other place in world he should send her 19yo indonesian daughter here for study. months later, her daughter's body was found raped and murdered lying under sengkang MRT, he devastated and flied to sg... .

Name me a country with Zero crime? Was told by a netizen you are from Malaysia. Top 20 Safest Countries in the World 2022 Singapore - 1.326 is ranked no 9. Malaysia - 1.471 ranked 18. So the higher crimes rate is better than the lower crimes rate country.
