My hackintoshed T480, running Ventura 13.4, undervolted, Bios unlocked, high TDP of 35W runs cinebench R23 like a pro.
4731 points maximum w/o screen recording, solid 4400 points with screen recording (as the Quicktime video recorder needs some CPU power too).

little bit slow for a 3,8 litre v8
This is VERY quick for the 380 SE and in general for a big sedan with a small V8 during that time period.
@@Abszurdista-fatalista Agreed. In fact, 0-100 km/hr in an 8 seconds is excellent for an 1980's sedan, almost on par with modern cars. I'm guessing @youngcali is an American, and not very familiar with 0-100km/hr runs. In this car, an 8 second, 0-100km sprint could be equivalent to a 7.5-7.7 sec. 0-60 mph run. I'd rather have a mid-80s 380 SE, than a "faster", modern Toyota Camry or Honda Accord.

@@EdAb For sure. Also, this car never ever lets you down, and will still run by the time your kids and even grandkids inherit it.... OId Mercedes-Benz never lets you down.

@@HYBER1 what average speed on highway for that 7.8 consumption? 120/130 or 140/150?
@@bokinbg1 im having better consumption now, around 6.5L/100km at 100-130kmh, changed maf sensors, better wheels, air and fuel filter etc. I had my car remapped with around 280hp and 600+nm torque and it had like 4.9-5.2l/100km on highway at 100-130kmh speed. Unfortunately had to get rid of the remap after some other problems but whatever.
@@HYBER1 that is decent consumption for that engine. I am thinking of buying c320cdi as daily and for longer travels. Do you recommend it? Did you have any major issues and costly repairs?

Ich hatte damals auch mal so einen Laguna 1,8l Sauger. Klasse Motor muss ich sagen. Hat sich mit nicht ganz normaler Abgasanlage wie ein Vieh angehört! Hat alles zusammengeschrien. Und die !erste! Kupplung war erst nach 235.000 km verstorben.

Wanted to thank you for the write up on how to convert/update Contour Roam to Contour Roam 2. I've updated two of them and really appreciate the information.
Rüdiger, die Straße ist quasi einspurig. Hab auch noch die Aufnahmen vom Helm, ist relativ übersichtlich, wenig Verkehr, fahre so dass es passt. Auf ner zweispurigen halte ich mich weit weg von der linken Spur .
Geile Straße, gut unterwegs aber leider keine gute Linie. Du bist zu oft auf der linken Seite. Glück gehabt dass kein andere Mopedfahrer dir entgegenkommt.
Downgrade exactly as you updated. Edit the text file and add the old fw image to the storage. Rename the image to contourroam2.bin

does anyone know how to get back to the original FW? because now 2:16 with the txt file no longer has the words update_fw. I can no longer turn the camera records only to -90 °.

One Question: After updating the Contour Roam firmware to v2.16, do I need to go back and delete the .bin file from the microSD care or change the .txt file back to "UPDATE_FW:N"?

Obi wan, no, your roam does not need to be in fw 1.01 in order to be flashed to roam2's fw. Just make sure u rename roam2 fw into roam1's fw name and that will trick the cam into flashing. Remember to reformat the card after completing the flash and reset the cam.
Wow Great riding! I ride 990SMT ( 2011 )and I've just got contour Roam2. 990SMT is a great bike, isn't it? And my helmet is also Shoei, Z-6 though. We have almost same gears. hahaha
Can you please tell me how long your Roam1 updated with Roam 2 version ? I've found your topic on mtbr.com , did the same steps, and I've been waiting for 20 minutes that the camera should finish the update, but it's still blinking like it's still updating. It's something wrong or it's normal ? Great job anyway :)
