I'm guessing @youngcali is an American, and not very familiar with 0-100km/hr runs. In this car, an 8 second, 0-100km sprint could be equivalent to a 7.5-7.7 sec. 0-60 mph run. I'd rather have a mid-80s 380 SE, than a "faster", modern Toyota Camry or Honda Accord.

This is VERY quick for the 380 SE and in general for a big sedan with a small V8 during that time period.
