Beautiful finish to the hike in the Cascades of Northern WA. A mix of good and bad weather, but the final leg was blessed with sunshine!

The final scenes of Oregon, and the first half of Washington. Plenty of cloudy days, but some really neat sections! (Hiking through this section was in early to mid September for me)

A beautiful but rainy side trip through scenic Yosemite. I made the hike over Clouds Rest and up Half Dome (over three days around July 4th).

Week four on trail, more views on the way to mile 400 or so. Another nice summit sunset on Mt. Baden-Powell.

This is just some video log of my first week on the trail. I'll try to post these more regularly, it just takes a bit of work to put it all together and find a good wifi spot to upload while out on the trail. I'm having too much fun out here. Here's a gear overview for my 2015 PCT attempt. I feel like I'm definitely taking more things than I'll need, and I don't quite have it refined with lots of complementary items. I think that's how it will be for the start though, and I can always send things home as I find I dont use them often. Total pack weight for the items as shown is about 16.5 lbs.
