Vielen Dank für das Video. Genau diesen Lüfter muss ich wahrscheinlich austauschen. Also muss ich das Ganze ausbauen und dann auch noch die Kühlpaste ersetzen. Wirklich Etwas blöd gemacht, bei Asus TUF. Dass man die Pipe weg nehmen muss, damit man an den Lüfter kommt. Und dann natürlich auch die die CPU und GPU, reinigen muss, dann neue Pasten drauf oder Patch. Die Lüfter sind die Schwachstellen bei Asus. Da lohnt es sich dann auch gleich zum Upgraden. Voller Service.

I did not find it an easy task to do, because you can easily damage any component in the laptop and then its more gas on fire. I am happy I came across your video & you doing steps in real time. Just finished this install, and i have to say, why the fuck does apple not just screw-mount their batteries. They just don’t want amateurs doing this job and they want their $500 service repair

Just finished my install, went great and working all sweet. I’ll admit, the apple batteries are ridiculously sticky even with using 100% isopropyl alcohol they still were hard to remove. Upon removal your battery went in perfectly and very easily, no issue at all. I had once circumstance at the end when I plugged in my laptop to power and turned my laptop on and it all booted up, but the computer wouldn’t survive on its battery, I then instantly went to the ribbon cable on the left and re-latched it properly as i must not have anchored it properly, then I was all good after that. Thanks for the quick delivery, hoping this battery can last me another 8+ years

This is just a temp fix. Poor video. Not a solution.

I would also lube the fan axle while at it. Once the metal cover of that fan assembly is removed, its just one smootth pull with no effort and pulls right out (as far as i can tell from both my laptop CPU GPU fans).

My hinges have broken free from my top case and my bezel has cracked. Your video makes replacing the bezel and top case look like a job I can do. I think I will order the parts and fix it instead of sending it to the shop.

Hi thanks for post, just used your method and got powered up but now not loading windows just black screen saying PXE E61 media test failure, check cable PXE M0F Exiting intel boot agent No boot device found, press any key to reboot. I’m pressing any key with no effect so powering off by power button. Any help appreciated. Matt

Great video. Walked my way through, stopping for each process. My unit was a 15 cs3073cl...same from end to end. Only portion that was difficult, was replacing the bezel. Found that a true focus on the bottom was essential and until that was completed the sides don't drop in and remain...they actually "buckle" up until bottom is fully seated and "clicked" in. Then, the sides and the top fall easily into place. Thanks for the technically approached and truly accurate, experienced process.

very nice video and a great help as I have a very similar hp laptop with a cracked screen and I will have to be doing this exact repair. Just can't find the screen I need yet. The touch screens seem to be hard to find or out of stock. This is a 17.3 inch screen and is 720p. wish I could up the resolution on it but don't know if that is possible on this hp 17-cn2165cl model. Anyone know if this change is possible? I fixed it (hopefully) by just going into NOVO , i enabled the ability to return to previous BIOS versions, dont know if that actually did something and now I'm currently not having the issue anymore. Hope this helps someone

Amazing work, thank you very much for sharing. This procedure also works on the 15-eg3053cl model of the HP laptops. One tool that helped me in the adhesive removal from under the LCD is a hemostat (surgical clamp) as you can get a hold of it and it won't let go easily as tweezers will.

Thank You for the video. It gave me the confidence to do the job myself. I also am having the problem of the laptop overheating so I will need to either replace the fans or clean them and reapply the thermal paste and even though you didn't do a video on doing that for the G65, I did see one you did on the G63 and I think I will be able to utilize what I learned from that video to do the G65. My fan blades are caked with dirt and i will have to soak the fan blades in alcohol and maybe even use an ultrasonic cleaner to get the dirt off or I might just get new fans.
