I always treated psi operative as a win more button, if you got to the point where you maxed out a psi operative, you've already won the game, so having a unit that's so extra powerful doesn't really do anything.

Litdum Reloaded is honestly pretty bad. I can deal with the changes to the game and the balance, BUT sieges are made inherently WORSE because of how the author (or prior author of litdum, i'm not sure which) decided to make LITTLE,TINY, ITSY, BITSY holes instead of the actual siege holes for ladders and towers. I got so damn annoyed with it that I edited the scenes myself. You can even tell it was done on purpose as some of the holes are covered with other prop pieces, to make them small af (we're talking 1 person getting through the hole) and near impossible to take. Everything else in the mod is fine, but sieges are aids.

I want to see another Sci fi mod, alone with actual working space battles like from star wars battlefront 2. Those word be grate

Mount and blade lowkey one of the greatest games of all time. Its truly a relic. I never thought I'd get years and thousands of hours of gameplay from a simple game and still want to continue playing.

This is a well done video, I appreciate listing all the mods like this. Although your opinions on LotR and Pendor are bad, bottom of the barrel even, and you should feel bad for having them, but otherwise, pretty good.

No, it is not dumb to suggest ranking these mods objectively, you just didn't know how to or didn't want to. Saying "all art is subjective by design" suggests you just don't know how, especially since you then go on to apply objective standards to the mods you're reviewing.

You Didn't have to go to a place to have them hold.. it was Useful.. but you could direct w the direct cursor, or e the mini map. Which is ye thing I miss most 🤗😅😅

This game is like the perfect canvas for someone who has an autistic fixation to a specific period and location in history. Broken or not it's amazing how dedicated modders of this game can be

Nova Aetas for me will always be my favorite Warband mod although of course it is not without it's bugs and flaws. I've never played another Warband mod where you could place your own buildings and walls and stuff down though and upgrade them over time. You could even place down your own castle anywhere on the main land and build it up which I thought was super cool. Blood & Steel I also still remember although eventually my army was just insanely OP and I won every siege from a far with some grenade rifle unit that would just instantly wipe out everything stood on the walls lol.

I know it's just a matter of preferences but I still find this pretty funny every time it happens in the video: Mod X: "Some stuff is locked behind progression/feature/new system. I can't rate this mod higher." Mod Y couple of entries later: "...but if you cheat, it's good!"

World of Vasnar got so many Cool mechanics with Necro Alchemy, to becoming a Lich or joining the Cult of the deep it deserved at least top 10. Especially when you consider how many different Factions there are where you actually can see distinct Faction feelings. Especially the Deep. Great video tho :)

Just a minor correction: The Triple Alcance war is not about Paraguay Independence. They were independent and it was not threaten. It started with Paraguay invasion of Brazil and later Argentina with the motivation of helping a party of the Uruguayan civil war. Paraguay was the aggressor on the war.

What they updated Phantasy of Calradia after 6 years???? I played that in Highschool and kinda like it due to how funny broken the magic was. The Orc witch can one shot you from the corner of the map, on top of being mobile. It was a chaos trying to kill em before they one shot me

Agree on ranking perisno higher than pendor despite the combat being more satisfying and having meatier fights in pendor, horse archers are just incredibly OP and make the game take forever perisno on the other hand has more units being viable to be OP due to ironflesh tankiness, and makes horse archer kiting less OP, the downside imo is that attacks feel kinda light and that troop trees become an arms race since lower tiers are almost unviable against elites no matter how many you throw at them Wish there could be a sweetspot between perisno and pendor

Even though it is an unfinished, somewhat niche mod; you should try Chronicles of Might and Magic. It is like a conversion of Heroes 3: Might and Magic game. It has many unique features/models/cities I've never seen in any other mod.

Found a good few I'd like to try out through this video. I'm surprised though - Prophesy of Pendor is the best of all I've played. You have your reasons for not enjoying it - it'd have just been nice to expand a little more on what people do tend to praise it for. It has a wealth of content and features that build so well on the base game, without trying to hamfist mechanics that don't work so well in the engine. The core gameplay is the same, just the depth and breadth of it is greatly expanded, along with a bunch of QoL improvements over the base-game; enough fantasy elements to keep things interesting, but not so many that it no longer feels grounded (well, the demon armies were pushing it a bit). The fact it can take so long to access much of its content is a good thing - there's almost always something to work towards, where in most if not all other M&B mods I've played, late-game gets stale as hell and fast. It has the Custom Knighthood Order system which is a huge late-game money sink, and one of the few instances (if not the only) of players being able to make their own units.

Something I just don't connect with at all with Bannerlord are the factions and the way armour looks. In Warband, it's simple and Iconic. There's the Viking faction, the Mongol faction, Saracens etc, all with their practical and well designed outfits. In Bannerlord everyone looks like a fantasy roleplayer, and I go to Mount and Blade to get AWAY from fantasy. (Maybe the bannerlord faction designs are actually based on real stuff, I don't know. but Warband factions are so much more familiar and instantly recognisable.) Had Bannerlord just kept or adapted the same factions from Warband, I probably would have connected with its aesthetics a lot more.
