    It's funny. Had a VL from 1990 to 2015. Got used to it and could do most of what I needed. Somehow convinced myself I needed to collect airbrushes...

    Thanks for sharing, I don't understand why companies as big as Paasche don't have videos of what their airbrushes can do. I hadn't found a good recent video of the Raptor or the Paasche Vision (which is the one that draws my attention the most although I don't like its price). After watching your video I'll be able to make a better decision on which one to buy.

    • @airbrushdungeon
      @airbrushdungeon 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for watching. The Vision, like the Raptor is the same brush as the Talon. Where the Raptor has a smaller cup, the Vision adds a MAC valve and a fancy black finish. I was looking at all three, and the Raptor won for me. Good brush at a great price. If I didn't already have brushes with Mac valves, I would likely have gotten the Vision. But a quick release with a MAC is cheap, and the smaller cup is much nicer to work with.😎

    Most of the videos I have watched run the air pressure anywhere from 8 psi to 20 psi with needles that are .2 mm so as to keep the paint from spidering from too much air pressure. Maybe that will help with such thin paint and small tip.

    • @airbrushdungeon
      @airbrushdungeon 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for watching. under 10 PSI is too low for this brush. Paasche brushes tend to be air hungry in my experience. I had it running at 15 with it way over reduced. I run my Creos with a .18 and Infinity with a .15 at some very low pressures.

    Nice airbrush, I just can't stand the smell of the box...I think its the foam, but at that price/quality it really doesn't matter. The only thing I dislike its that mid golden part, it should come off without the help of tools. One other thing is the quick release is different from the H&S ones and sometimes it would not connect propperly. Greetings from Matosinhos Portugal.

    • @airbrushdungeon
      @airbrushdungeon 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for watching. I didn't notice any off about the smell. Now you got me wanting to go sniff the box.👃 As for the gold piece requiring tools, I figured that after having it apart, if I tightened it by hand it would come apart easier. It does however, comes apart when trying to remove just the handle. They should deepen the holes to accommodate a tool like the one that comes with the H&S Infinity. I use the same quick release system as a standard Iwata, and this one connects perfectly.

    • @gonzalvezalvez6572
      @gonzalvezalvez6572 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@airbrushdungeon Hello again Sir, yes the smell is just a nonsense...in the end it is not a parfume, eau du cologne...it's an airbrush. I am a little bit too picky when it comes to scents. Am I being nozy? 😆 Now seriously, its an awesome airbrush and I am amazed with the quality. My favourite brand is Harder and Steenbeck just love the philosophy behind, almost everything is interchangeable so you can have a Ultra with a 0.15 combo and the front of a Infinity...I know, you have them too, so why am I wasting my "Latin"😉 Sorry...I am drifting...back to the subject. After watching some reviews online I ordered the GHAC39 from the UK, I was a little nervous thinking it would be a piece of crap, it was not! No bent needles, no missing chrome, it felt just like a Iwata Eclipse but it had two needle combos 0.35 and 0.5 I cannot find anything bad to say about it. As for the Mobius series, they look very good but to me they have two flaws, the first one is the golden middle part and its removal (I ended up making some marks on it unscrewing it with a suitable tool) I think it is brass, so its kind of soft. I came to the same conclusion as you, it should have a tool like the Infinity and I even told that to Ghaahleri. I have not take that part of the 03 mob, but it is going to happen someday. I used the same strategy as you did not tighten it too much, so I can take it out using only a rag to help me grip it. Do not take the trigger tensioner out, it was a pain to get it back (also maybe my golden part was not straight anymore) The second flaw is a smaller one, the quick connect it had slightly different dimensions that my H&S hose connector, and to me of inferior quality when compared to the GHAC39 connector, it tends to "spit" the hose and H&S connector out because of the slightly different "nipple". Wow...no one can say that I do not like writing...but I don't! It was longer than my testament! Greetings and Salutations, Piece to the Nations! Cheers! Adeus!

    • @gonzalvezalvez6572
      @gonzalvezalvez6572 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      So I just changed the Mobius 02 and 03 connector for genuine H&S connectors...to be honest I do not use them often because of the trouble of taking it apart. The ghac39 I use it often. My work horses are a H&S Ultras (0.4) and Thayer and Chandler Vega 2000 (0.5, 0.7, 1.0). For detail H&S Infinity, Evolution, Hansa 581. Unfortunately I think H&S dropped their quality parameters, bought the evo '24 it has cool and stronger interior mechanism with a tighter machining but the bottom of the cup is not smooth, it has some marks and it should be smoother just like the Mobius. I was not cheap 190 euros for the 2 in 1. I am trying to restart painting, changing to the waterbased acrylics was a disaster to me. Thank you European Union!

    .2 needles are designed to be used with really reduced paint. You got nowhere near as small as it is capable of. You need to reduce that paint a lot more if you actually want this brush to perform as its designed to. All .2 brushes require a lot of reducing.

    • @airbrushdungeon
      @airbrushdungeon หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching. I'm well aware of what a .2 is capable of. My smallest is my Infinity @ .15. The smallest in the industry. I've worked in the custom paint indusrty for years. After having a couple of strokes, I retired until I couldn't fight that itch. So now I'm giving YT a go. but I am relearning a lot from moving to acrylic paint from urethanes. More videos are coming.
