It all depends on what your painting. I shot T-shirts for a living for 10 years in Florida. I had 20 Vega’s each one a different color. But the last 5 years of shooting T-shirts I switch to 20 Iwata Eclipse HP-BCS brushes. I have Olympos MP-200B and MP-200C. I also have right now every Iwata Microns including the new Takumi Micron. I have 100 airbrushes in total. All Brand names. No cheap knock offs. After T-shirts I moved out West and shot Harley’s, Cars and Trucks for 25 more years. I finally retired and paint for myself. I may have the Knick name Airbrushkid but I am no kid by all means. If your painting to learn 1 airbrush is all that’s needed. Have fun.

It's funny. Had a VL from 1990 to 2015. Got used to it and could do most of what I needed.
Somehow convinced myself I needed to collect airbrushes...

I hear ya. I look at a brush I don't have, and a little voice in my head asks how we're surviving without it. Some brushes just catch my eye like a piece of jewelry, 💍or a nice Rolex.⌚

Damn ! Damn! Just bought another one. My thinking is...I`ve got 3 USA, 3 German, 3 Chinese but only one lonely Japanese so a Procon Boy PS-270 joins my Iwata as it`s made in the same factory......... :-(

I like your review of all your airbrushes.......keep it going. I`ve subscribed to keep an eye on you !!. I`ve been airbrushing (badly and inconsistently) since the 1980`s with a single action (1) Badger 200 and Badger compressor. Still got them in good order.
Now at 73 I`ve been upgrading and learning how to use modern Acrylics rather than longstanding Enamels.
    Something strange happening........... now collected.......

Hi John. Thanks for watching, commenting, and most of all for the sub. It's hard to get this TH-cam thing rolling when like me, you lack the raw talent that some of these TH-cam artists have. Some of these guys are amazing. In comparison, I'm just winging it. It's nice to meet a fellow 80s airbrush refugee. And that is an awesome collection you have there.

@@johntaylor5807 You referenced the vary guys I was talking about. Mark from The Art Workshop had kind words for what I do, and subbed to my channel. That was a nice little ego boost. He's a pretty cool guy.
