Every PLANET COASTER Coaster Type in Real Life
We investigate all 56 different coaster types in Planet Coaster, the incredible game that many people consider to be the spiritual successor to RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. What real world rides inspired their designs - or are they actually all fictitious??
All designs in the game shown are my own (except for a few light fixtures).

Every RCT Classic Flat Ride in REAL LIFE
มุมมอง 36Kปีที่แล้ว
Sure, flat rides may not be as eye-catching or exciting as roller coasters, but they're the bread and butter of most amusement parks, including those created in RollerCoaster Tycoon. In this video, we examine all of the tracked rides in RCT1 and RCT2 (any non-coaster ride with customizable layouts), trying to figure out what real world rides inspired their in-game designs. *Thanks to drdreadfuk2 for pointing out that the Mini Helicopters more closely resemble the monorails buil...

มุมมอง 7K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Amusement Today’s Golden Ticket Awards is well known in the coaster community for its highly questionable “Best Coaster” lists. To find out, we analyzed the first ever Top 10 Steel Coasters list released by Amusement Today for their 1998 Go...

What Inspired the Figure 8 Loop in RCT3?
มุมมอง 56K2 ปีที่แล้ว
The Figure 8 Loop on the Hypercoaster is one of the most bizarre elements in the RollerCoaster Tycoon series. Despite looking incredibly unrealistic and nonsensical, it was actually based off of a real life coaster concept. Join me as we take a deep dive into Georg Pötzsch and his insane Figure 8 Loop coaster. SOCIAL LINKS: Instagram (that I rarely use): jnattyboi Twitter (that ...

In this video, join me as I explore Seattle’s surprisingly rich amusement history, driving around the city to highlight the rise and demise of Luna Park, Playland Park, and the Fun...

the Double Inverting Dive Loop not appearing on the video...... (Ride to Hapiness)
1:47 Oooooooo... about that.... Steel Phantom did, it was so bad they had Morgan rebuild it into Phantom's Revenge.
I’d love to see a part six if you ever had the want to make it!! These videos are great.
Every Planet Coaster Flat Ride type in real life
The way you talk really sounds like the Gaming Historian if he dropped an octave. It's nice.
17:09 the first launched wing coaster is actually Furious Baco, Built by intamin in portaventura.
When will you this for parkitect?
I busted out laughing at top thrill 3
Just wait till modern vekoma enters the scene, I will happily support their new efforts - Circuit Breaker looks awesome!
This might just be me, but "The Monster" looks more like The Great White at Morey's Pier in Wildwood, New Jersey.
17:10 the first launch winged coaster is furius baco, but it was made by intamin instead of B&M
Karacho in Tripsdrill was my first thrill coaster... and the Name "Karacho" means something like high speed. Its hard to describe, because its kind of a specific German Word. Also Tripsdrill is also hard to pronounce for some Germans, when they read it the first time. But I really love the Coaster!
Alien 3 slander in the first 12 seconds of the video :( I can't escape it, that movie was good and people are just disappointed it was more like Alien than Aliens. Oh also yeah roller coasters and stuff great video as always yes yes👍
3:20 Hey buddy, can you please tell me what ride this is? I really want to ride it in the game!
What boggles me is why Full Throttle is the only coaster considered a Sky Rocket 3. Why not west coaster racers? Or ice breaker?
Storm chaser wasn’t ground up.
Btw I'm excited for episode 6.
22:18 Voltron Nivera at Europa park is one of these models, built by Mack rides and opening in 2024
Fun fact: the F25 blueprint is actually just hulk at universal, they are really sneaking some recreations in.
You should do a video on train types for coasters and their real life reference if you haven’t already
I have the power to go from 999 to 1k.
So, when are we getting every Planet Coaster flat rides in real life? Because I think that would make a good video, as you’ve done it with RCT 1, 2, and 3.
The Log Flume in RCT2 has a turnaround element, which to my knowledge is only found on Mack designs, such as Crazy River in Walibi Holland.
I heavily appreciate your choice in music. I played holts suite in eb before and I recognized it immediately
that is the oldest in AMERICA
It’s the oldest in the WORLD. Built in 1902.
I'd love to see all the flat rides in this game!
What about the mosasaurus roll?
"No similarity..." Meanwhile, me putting down the "American Arrow steel looping coaster" in-game: "Boy does this remind me of Arrow Dynamics' steel looping coaster called the Great American Scream Machine!"
Walibi holland which was owned by sixflags years ago during rct3's release actually has one of those mechanical bulls
do a parkitect next, pleeeeeeeease 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🙏🏽🙏🏽
Am you forget One en wireman spinning There is one en europ
TH-cam's stupid 1080p premium feature has sadly ruined aspects of this video, its impossible to read small text as now your only option without paying for premium is 360p. Its still a great video, i just wish youtubes greed didnt step in and lower the quality of the viewing experience
The train from Vector looks like the Train from Blue Fire Megacoaster in the Europa Park.
Idk why they did put that text at the begining of the game, when clearly all those coasters are just based on the IRL ones.
It’s that parks don’t sue them.
Also to note, rival name is a homage to one of the most famous invent coaster alton towers nemesis Btw for planet coaster 2, they 100% should add new gen vekoma models
@JNattyBoi can you do every Theme Park Tycoon 2 coaster in real life?
"The Monster" I think is meant to be The Beast at Kings Island, it absolutely looks like and is designed a lot like it, and you can't deny 'The Monster' and 'The Beast' are effectively the same name.
B&m inverts. I swear nemesis was earlier but that might be just me
Damn, very well made video. You clearly know your s*** :) But in your launched Wingcoaster segment you forgot about Furius Baco in PortAventura, Spain. Furius Baco was the first launched Wing Coaster opened in 2007
Ooooh kitty so cute 😍
I think a wingover always has one little pop up before the main inversion over. This creates the unique sensation of going from extreme negative g's to extreme positives almost instantly.
1:06 finally, RMC orion, the savior we all needed
should do this with the flat rides too!!
So glad to see you posting again. I love your videos! ❤
Thanks so much! Glad to be back :)
Frontier should add the Ultra Twister Model, which is a Pipeline type coaster.
So glad Loch Ness Monster got love with this renovation. It is genuinely a historic and intensely fun coaster! It's 2024 and the only one of its type that we have and it's nearing 50!
The Monster definitely seems like the name is inspired by The Beast, which uses those trains
I’m hoping the next one is flat ride based!
Can you do this again when planet coaster 2 comes out please. I will subscribe so I get notified
Outstanding, but that's exactly what I've come to expect from your channel. Wonderful work, dude. I'm super entertained.
Thank you! Really appreciate it
