(Lyric Breakdown) Ado - Shoka. Thought Provoking Lyrics!
fun fact: There’s actually no autotune in this song, it’s a vocoder similar to what’s used in the intro of “let’s groove” by earth, wind and fire. Not to the same extreme but they’re practically the same thing, ones just way more heavy than the other
samoan power
I am here for ADO. I hope you can do more ADO. I will keep visiting. ^^
I am here just for ADO ONLY.
More ADO. I am here for her ONLY. ADO is the MUSIC. She is one of the kinda. She does it all. She is utterly the ONLY ONE. She is my GOAT.
More ADO.

She is a professional singer and here she sings about the terrifying love for the TV show Yamishibai (Japanese Horror Stories).
yup do shambles outro for kengan ashura
You know, Kanami isn't your usual guitarist with insane techniques or precision (reactors often praise her for her precisision but I tend to disagree on that). But Kanami's style is unmistakable. She's different. I love her quirky playing style and each member's distinctive style as well.
SAKURA from HAGANE and Midori & Miyako from Lovebites are, of course, excellent guitar players and, in terms of technique alone, there's no doubt that they're better than BAND-MAID's Kanami. However, Kanami has been writing good songs for the band for over 10 years and is working hard to increase the sense of unity as a band. I believe that reactor's mission is to introduce a wide variety of good songs to everyone, so it's probably not healthy to focus too much on BAND-MAID. That said, BAND-MAID has a long history and there are still many works by Kanami, who is also an excellent composer. I hope that you will continue to enjoy BAND-MAID's journey for a long time to come.😊
Kanami's style is unmistakable.
The anime is about an animator getting transferred to Isekai, and survives using her animation skills😊 Also, the purple hoodie person in this MV, is the animator 😅
Interesting. I am not too familiar with terms used in anime. Isekai i believe means a normal person being sent to a super natural world? My interpretation to defying fatalism i can see in a way coincides with the anime. Surviving through drawing reminds me of a childhood show called chalkzone
Thanks Twisted 🎉
Band Maid (shambles MV) 100% 🔥
Yes, you need more Band-Maid.
actually, it seems that when young people start watching a lot of anime, they don't have time to commit crimes.
I generally watch the OP/ED at least the first time, and sometimes the last time they play. But there have been shows I stuck with almost solely based on wanting to start the next episode and see the opening again.
Agree. To add: normally the songs will always be in multiple episodes so I will skip them after awhile until new songs are introduced. In Band-Maid’s case, I’ve never skipped any of their OP or ED. 😂 They’re worth the extra 1:30 every time.
1 reaction a month would equal over 300 months or 25 years of the backlog....and they all kick ass....
Well let's hope i have a long youtube career 💀. I will likely narrow down how many artists i explore. I think iv explored a lot of Japanese metal artists so I will stick to those I have playlists for and enjoy.
Note.....Kanami is the 1st and only Japanese female artist to get a PRS signature guitar....and she is actually a better composer than artist IMO
😛🤘
🤘🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥Excellent .
I love this song, Hagane was good before and is amazing now. Sakura and Junna are an excellent match, they both play with such speed, precision and intensity. Nagi is fantastic. I liked how Sayaka's bass seems more elevated in the mix and prominent, it really adds to the song. The video is cheesy and low budget, but it's cheerful and let's the ladies showcase their amazing skills. Junna dropped her drumstick at 2.56, I wouldn't be surprised if she finished that shoot with just the left stick going twice as fast...😎
I love this song. It's pretty different from their "normal" sound, but still very much them. The music video for 'Style' is a lot fun even if I have no idea what is happening in it.
I recommend the song 'สุขไม่สุด' Choose One, Lose One by The Parkinson ft. Tilly Birds. I really want to know how you interpret the MV because it has been confusing me lately.
Try their song Change for some rap and diversity
They are wonderful to see live, I saw them in London last January, and they will be here again on the 17th as the start of their second(and larger) EU tour. Then they are off to the USA and Canada for an extensive tour, with over 30 venues lined up.
Can you react junna here
Junna the drummer? yes!
👍👍👍
Hi there. :) Would you like to react to some more Visual Kei? If I correctly, last time you were thinking if Visual Kei means dark aestherics, so I would like to show you something different than Dexcore, Jiluka and The Gazette. If you can, please react to band 摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera) and their song "真っ白な闇がすべてを塗り替えても" (Masshiro na Yami ga Subete wo Nurikaete mo), it's symphonic speed metal band, so quite happy and energetic in sound, also visually nothing dark, at least in this video. I hope you will react to it. ;)
A really amazing band that shines the brightest when they are live.
I recommend Fearless by Rolling Quartz, if you haven't heard it yet.
@@2-st1mj noted.
@TwistedGunZ Agreed ! The 'Fearless' MV is excellent. As is the 'Azalea' MV. These were the first two *RQ* 💎 MV songs I saw - and together made me a RQ 💎 fan. BTW, RQ 💎 fans are called *Diadem* 👑 - it's our Fandom name. 😊
Worth checking this out - PINK DROP = Pink Venom x MIC Drop by AleXa x Rolling Quartz 롤링쿼츠 x 알렉사 (BTS & BLACKPINK Rock Cover) - yet another side to their talents - th-cam.com/video/geSy4yOLfl8/w-d-xo.html BTW - don't know where you're based but they're embarking on a big European then North American Tour this year so they might be coming to a theatre near you soon 😉
@@alastairmcintyre4752 I would check these ladies out in concert for sure if they're near me. Ill for sure explore more of their music and I need to delve more into Korean artists for sure.
I come back to mafumafu reactions from time to time, maybe once every 7-8 months. And from my experience. THIS is the best reaction. Loved the lyric breakdowns
@@temshopping I appreciate that. I do enjoy the lyric breakdowns and appreciate when people listen and give me their opinion on my breakdown 🙂

This song, this band are so freaking dope.
It's great that you like HAGANE this much 👍 Thanks for the reaction! Did you know that Nagi started her own youtube channel? Check it out, she sings live there, I mean without post editions, at least in my opinion🔥 As for Junna, I love her, watched her long before HAGANE, she has a very contrasting personality. She can be a little shy at times, be cute and be wild ( when she is behind drum set)). Watch her other social accounts. It's wonderful that Sakura was able to invite her. I didn't know about HAGANE, just watched recommended video, saw JUNNA and started to dig them further and fell in love with the new line up. Sakura is highly skilled herself. Their combination with JUNNA is absolutely insane, overflow of energy ⚡⚡⚡ Sayaka is a little uptight but sure is skilled as well, I like her bass solo. Would be perfect if we could see one day Sakura and Sayaka duel, like Misa and Kanami did xD
Thank you for your accurate comments from Japan. ATARASHII GAKKO! is celebrating its 10th debut anniversary this year. The group's concept is "breaking out with individuality and freedom in an intolerant society," so their attitude is punk. Their early songs were often jazz-rock pieces themed around school life, but recently, their music has been a fusion of rock, punk, and hip-hop. The content usually consists of songs encouraging us when we feel overwhelmed in an intolerant society. For songs with heavy rap elements, check out "FlyHigh" and "Change."
MTH is one of my favorite metal bands. Can't recommend more of them enough. Atarashii gakko is wild, and one of the few pop groups I like, largely because most of their songs sound almost nothing like their other songs. My favorite song from them is titled Seishuun Wo Kirisaku Hado. It's got kind of an old school 90's hip hop/rock vibe thay reminds me a lot of the beastie boys, and I think they kill it.
Otona Blue is unlike every other Atarashii Gakko song. Their early stuff was Jazz Fusion. Lately they've been working with a producer for the Beastie Boys and a lot of their songs sound like the Beastie Boys. Especially Toyko Calling.
I am a total metalhead and love AG and there are quite a few of us out there. They have never ever really done metal but have many songs with cool ass drum and guitar solos that are a mixture of harder rock and jazz with pop thrown in. My personal favorite is Koi Geba which also has a somber topic of inappropriate teacher student relationships, the video is very good.
Power Metal bring you a joyful, a bravely, a feeling of victory or become a hero in a way of adventure, in fantasy world where you fight a dragon, slay demon and evils, etc. Also this is actually "Symphonic Power Metal" where Power Metal + some of synth, piano, opera choir, etc. with harmonic sounding, become a angelic, god feeling In this song, its theme is about knights and Dracula nobles, a prince fall in love with princess, rose represent for love, etc.
Babymetal just started a radio show in Japan on Saturday nights (the first one was yesterday). Next week is their first episode with guests, and it will be Atarashi Gakko. Maximum the Hormone is not afraid of using different genres if it will work. On the same single that this song came out on, they did another song with an artist called Ano, who sounds like a kawaii anime character (and plays one on tv) and that has parts which are EDM.
@@silirat interesting about the radio show. I am familiar with ano. Have a playlist of a good few of her songs.
AG are great collaborators, and this is their best collaboration so far.
Some MTH songs have a message that is reasonably clear. When it comes to Shimi? No clue. You had the lyrics there. Did they make sense? That said - this is one of my favorite videos.
The video imagery really helps make the message of it more comprehensible. It's about emotional/spiritual baggage/attachment manifesting as spiritual "stains" and getting rid of that stain by breaking free of those attachments.
The message here is AG! are selling a new biological detergent. Shimi means stain and AG! put their hands inside their shirts and push them out to show the stain...at least that was an initial thought and it got into the choreography and the video. AG!'s and MTH's musical styles are very different, but they are both iconoclasts and so work well together. AG! take on most of the more melodic verses that were originally sung by Nao, MTH's drummer, but she still gets to sing in the final verse before the ensemble ending. Rin is a great rapper and AG! have quite a few songs where she will rap. Check out "Nai Nai Nai" and if you want to see AG! headbanging again look at Mayoeba Totoshi th-cam.com/video/XqrNAnsWFQs/w-d-xo.html
If you want to check out what kind of show Atarashi Gakko put on and just how f**king crazy they are ( especially Suzuka the lead singer ) then I'd recommend checking out the live version of " Nainainai " from a sold out Hollywood Palladium in L.A. a few months ago towards the end of their sold out World Tour - it's something else - th-cam.com/video/D2sFGkPbC7E/w-d-xo.html ENJOY !
Atarashii Gakko is a grab bag of sounds and Otona Blue is just one of those sounds. I highly recommend going through more of there songs because I guarantee you will have a greater appreciation for them as artists. If you want rap heavy then NAINAINAI is a good place to start. If you want songs with deeper message than Tokyo Calling is another good starter song from them.
Atarashii Gakko's most rappy rap song is "NaiNaiNai", though it is a bit teeny boppy. They have done covers of 21 Savage's "Lazy Suzan" and the Beastie Boys' "Intergalactic", but only live. The song "Change" has rap in it. "Giri Giri" has a little rap in it but has a sick beat.
Atarashii Gakko has tons of rap songs. They are working with the Beastie Boys producer who did whatever album Intergalactic was on.
Maybe that is the problem, when you base your perception in one song. If there a word that defines AG is eclectic. Since you are metal head, maybe you should start by listening to Seishun wo kirisaki hado, which is going to be a sound closer to what you are accustomed to. AG has many sounds and so far, I have seen them doing pop, rock, jazz, hip hop, rap, disco, ska, and others that I'm sure flew over my head.
