Create a Modern Slideshow using Camtasia
In this video, I share how to create a Modern Slideshow using Camtasia.
By combining photos, circular shapes, and some features in Camtasia you will be able to create a nice and smooth slideshow. Just follow the step-by-step and start to make your photo slides pop. You can also apply this technique to create a video effect or transition.
This tutorial uses Camtasia 2022 which also can be done in Camtasia 2023 or Camtasia 2024.
You can also create this slideshow using Camtasia 2021. The steps are the same, only skip the Blend Mode for the Circle Outline at 2:36 minute, then decrease the opacity by around 5% or 10% to replace that Blend effect, the outcome isn't far different.

Thanks, I’m going to try this technique sometime. But do you notice any degrading of photo quality (.jpg files) when you import them into Camtasia? I have seen some degradation upon export of slideshows to mp4 files.
I do, especially when we use a .jpg file and resize its image larger or even smaller that's always happened.

I'm not sure.😄 If you mean by the fast glitch effect like that, I think it's almost hard to create in Camtasia right now, unless we draw all of the elements frame-by-frame, and that must be a lot of work. Anyway, thanks for the feedback, I really appreciated it!

I like your creations, but I think you are not doing any favours to yourself! Why? Can you imagine how many more viewers and purchasers you would attract if you had provided step-by-step instructions? Your current presentations are esoteric and mysterious. They would be much more on a winning streak if you took the time and showed the good will to explain the process of your work in detail. Irrespectively of what I suggest, you may not want to do that and that is fine. Your creation, your decision and I respect that.

I can only apply media matte to text, not on shapes or images. Please guide
A bit strange!😀 Technically, a Media Matte could be applied to any object on the Annotations group, except for the Blur & Highlight effect. Just for the way it's applied is different for Camtasia 2020. Maybe you can try to re-install your Camtasia, and if the problem persists, you might contact TechSmith support for this issue.
