Me too, I am a big fan of their fragrances. And that “chocolate” one is a fave. Hmmm yum. I need to pick up some more of their fragrances. The candles I have not tried yet but that’s because I have a huge Voluspa and Bath and a Bodyworks candle collection I’m working my way through. But one of these days I will be trying their candles as I want to hear the crackling sounds. I like the theme of this palette and love that they are magnetic

Your looks are gorgeous😍 I'm impressed to see how the mattes can layer up - both upon themselves or with other shades underneath - to create reasonably intense colour. Those muted colours with occasional pops of richer hues are beautiful 🧡🧡

Thank you for this review Jamila! It looks so stunningly beautiful on you. And you were able to tone down the shimma-shine blushes to perfection. I SO wanted to pick this one up BUT I could only choose one of the bigger splurges (as I already purchased my customized Hourglass Lotus 🪷 with Insert 2 and Dame Motha’s new Luminous Legends 🤩so I had to slow my role! 😜). It was a fight between Guerlain’s 888 Regarde-Moi palette ~ rather avant-garde color story or Chanel’s Enchanted Nights??? Ugh! It was such a difficult fight! They were neck and neck but I think 🤔 Guerlain won out as I bought it BUT I’m still having thoughts especially after your review! 🙄🤣 Chanel’s is STUNNING. Color story right up there for me BUT it reminds me of Natasha’s Lila palette which I already have and I can always find the ice shimmer glitter elsewhere. Also, I’m not sure I want that much shine on my cheeks especially in broad daylight with the Chanel. I do love the idea and the playfulness of a one palette trick pony. And it’s so dang beautiful. Ya know. Ah well, I made my decision. I think. 🫣 Lolol!

I was super interested when Beauty & the Frizz posted this, but you saved me from wasting $88. I have Supershock blushes that look to be spot on dupes for the pink and purple. I don't think I would wear the silver, and I have numerous bronze/gold highlighters and don't need another. Thank you for sharing a beautiful look!

The way black women continue to support Hourglass is diabolical at this point 😂. I’m shade Tahoe in nars for reference and their shades are a stretch for me. To hear women of color say they can make it work cracks me up. For those prices I’m not forcing anything to work. I know the influencers get paid regardless just for making a video and us commenting so I’m happy to support but hourglass needs to do better l

I think the bronzer in the volume 3 shows up better because it's warmer, so the contrast of the reddist tone shows up more against skin but in the lotus pallette the bronzer is more neutral so doesn't have as much contrase - I am similar skin tone to you and had the same experience, the lotus is more a sculpt/contour for me then bronze and I do need to build it up more then the shade from volume 3 (which I have in the tiger pallette)

Lowkey, as merch, I'd buy the toilet paper 😂 I bought the Lotus palette and the "bronzer" is a skintone powder for me. I was sad but, I can still use it as a finishing powder.

They gave us 7 palettes & none of them is for dark skinned. They keep playing in our face. Every year the same B.S.

I would say hourglass released 7 palette. 6 of which are for light to medium skintone and 1 palette is for darkskin. They have release only 2 finishing powders for us 4years ago and they have since refused to give us any more finishing powder. I would say though that using bronzer from the lighter palettes as finishing powder is exactly what I would have done.
