Good Times, Bad Times - Led Zeppelin (Hammond Organ Cover) I haven't sat down in front of a keyboard in a long time, and I've started to practice again recently and get my chops back. A decade before I got into playing lap steel, I played keys in a metal band, and I really wanted to get back into playing rock organ. Jon Lord from Deep Purple was a huge influence on me, as you'll hear. This vide...

After watching more than a hundred reactions to this piece, this one makes my top 2. Your appreciation of Tuomas's role as keyboard player is dear to me. He is easily the least conspicuous member on stage. But it is his vision, composition, and poetry that make Nightwish more than a group of amazing performers. At it really gets me that most of the recognition he usually gets is for the pipe dressing on his 3 keyboards. More than that, thank you for a truly engrossing reaction and experience.

I’ve binged all your Nightwish reactions over the past few days - I think this is your last, so just wanted to say thank you for all your insights that you shared. This particular song is very powerful and I’m glad it had such a positive, powerful impact on you. I hope you’re doing well now, thank you for sharing your story with us.

Two of the very powerful early influences on Alvin Lee came from Django Reinhardt and Big Bill Broonzy, who Alvin Lee had the opportunity to meet when his father got Big Bill Broonzy to come meet a then young Alvin Lee. Alvin Lee's father was big into old blues, the real old Delta blues, not the 'city blues' and old prison chain gang work songs. His father played them all the time. Alvin Lee grew up listening to them.

"Holy crap!" is right. This was the 60's and no one played the guitar like this. Hendrix was great but played a different style. This guy was playing stuff that would later make Stevie Ray say..."Damn!"

1965-1975 a revolution in music. It will be studied by future generations. We appreciate Woodstock as music fans not historians. Go 55 years before 1969, its 1914. Music fans don't listen to that music, historians do. See? A revolution occurred.
