I'm unsure how to take the file folders from my MacBook into a file in obsidian...do I create a note to past the folder into ?

Very useful explanation. I highly appreciated and it helped me creating my dashboard. I tried with a single page note and get messed up with the thought of using custom CSS. Didn't think of the canvas last time. PS Gave the 1000th 👍

I am also personally exploring the construction of a Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) system and gathering various information. In particular, I find that your recent videos on Obsidian present the most practical methods. The PKM stack was very helpful as a framework! As an IT professional, I would be happy to know the assumed data model.

For people that were similarly frustrated after 7 minutes in: PKM just means "Personal Knowledge Management" in this context. I thought it would be the first letters of the technologies in the stack, like the LAMP stack.

For those having difficulty setting up the QuickAdd plugin: You now have to create a template file and insert the JS script into it. Put the name of this file in the "Template Path." Toggle on the "Set default behavior if file already exists" option. Select the "Append to the top of the file" option. I think that's it! (I'm watching the video already.)

Tracker gives me this error: " 'startWeekOn' is not an available key ". Can't really find a solution on the web. If I remove that line it says: "Invalid data range".

Somehow current streak is not really working for me does anyone have an idea why? I set it up and I have already 7days but it says 0

Funny, for me its the other way around. The quite statitc character of the task plugin queryies (you cannot easliy move stuff like in a kanban and the relation between the queries is a little hard to manager), adding a kanban to the tasks list while having day planner which blends in all the events of selected calendars just creates this overview for me.

Hey Mike! Thank you so much for sharing this! I have done by best to setup this workflow, but I am getting stuck on any images I have added to my MindNode mindmap. I export it and open it in Bear, then after I copy from Bear and paste into obsidian, I then have to go back and paste the images a second time. Is there a way around this that I completely missed? It isn't tricky, but I wanted to ask if you already found a workaround.

Obsidian-Newbie here. I get the error-Message "QuickAdd[Error]: Error: Invalid template path for New Task Template path is empty." Any idea where I might have made the mistake? I tried a lot of things and also searched for answers but haven't been successful yet. I also wonder why this message is popping up in the first place as, in my understanding, I don't want to work with a template in this case, "just" a snippet of Java-Script code.

Thanks for the video. I don't want to offend you but I don't think the thumbnail is good. Smile, the hairstyle, no glasses and the pixelation of the books. I know this is certainly hard and takes time but since YT is not just for your fans. Maybe you can spend 10 minutes a day practicing. It also helps if you are photographed by a person.

I don't have any coding experience. I'm trying to make this work. Followed the instructions to a t and got stuck. First, Habits aren't displaying in a check box format. They are just [ ]. Second, couldn't get the code, in Canvas, to work. I received an error message that "startWeekOn' was not is not an available key (re: setting up the calendar)

Love your explanation. I've implemented a lot from this video into my system. However, I've found that when a load (or reload) Obsidian on desktop or mobile, about half the time, quick add fires up the task modal and tries to create a task from the current line of the note. Have you experienced this? Any ideas to troubleshoot? Thank you!

Thank you. Looking for information how to see the tab in read mode. In edit mode the tabs are visible, but as soon as I switch to read mode, nothing. Than you for hints and information.
