At 20:10, after adding the capture attribute node, my curve no longer removes a point. Any idea what I could have wrong? Before adding the curve to mesh and mesh to curve nodes before/after the delete geometry node, the curve would successfully remove points when stretched too far.

I appreciate the tutorial. one thing that I am trying to figure out is. keeping the projectiles from not moving when the start empty is moved after a point is fired. it makes sense why. would need to create some sort of condition if the point is moving keep on current vector, don't use new vector of the start empty moving

I bought your book. It serves as a good reminder. The most useful part def was the examples and tips. You should really add more. Like putting an example of all the most common practices per node. That would 4x your book's value imo. Make it the actual go to book for geo node. And if you could give most common application examples for the math nodes that would even be better as this is usually where people struggle most. It's a good base/reminder. But has crazy potential that hasn't been harnessed. Also is missing the texture node section with examples.

This bevel at 12:02 gives an artifact. Edit: Pretty much every bevel that has been done here introduced artifacts or shading issues and the fix was to merge some of the vertices together

I have been looking for a proper Rubiks Cube rig for some years now and this is perfect. I'd edit the input fields so a rotation is a unit of 1 rather than 8, which you could fix with some math node to keep the multiple of 8 in your geonode setup but otherwise I love this and I've bought the blend file so I can make some magic with it. I appreciate you, thank you.

Just want to give a little bit of optimization advice here. Generally always try to avoid using "divide" but use "multiply" with decimal (reciprocal) when possible, especially within a loop/iteration/simulation or anything that happens many times or to many objects. why? it's a long explanation, but you can simply google it or ask chatgpt or similar LLM AI to explain it. for example, instead of x/2 use x*0.5
