We intend on new content weekly Sunday at 8pm, but the nature of our show sometimes forces delays.

Oops sorry, there's a correction required here - Morris County wasn't named after Maurice Kinney (there's a 200-year timing difference there). It's named after Col Lewis Morris, the Governor of New Jersey in 1738 (back when New Jersey was a British Colony).
Spot on! I grew up here! My dad had so many stories about Babe Ruth and the train station. My gram had stories about riding on the paddle boats. I so enjoyed this!
Moved out of the area in '97. Back then, I heard I-287 was supposed to cut through a mountain just west of where the Ford plant used to be. Quite a rock to cut through if that what happened.
lol dam built by the lying deceiving FREEMASONS to hide old world your history is nothing but lies HIS STORY
My whole life I've kind of dreamed of going there, but for the last 10 years, every now and again I just find another video of how it's a hole now.
No, bro. You are mostly filming the Rockaway River.
Love from Woodland Court ❤
My best friend lives in Ringwood, New Jersey, so I’m up here all the time I’m staying up there cause I live at the coast of ct ( Stratford)
That water is the old Suntan Lake WOW ! Looks like a swamp now
In Irvington NJ, where I was born & raised, runs a branch of the Elizabeth River to Newark NJ. The "Brook" runs through an "aqueduct", built around 1930. I wonder if you could do an arial of the Brook. The source is in Vailsburg, Newark, NJ. It does look like a Canal of The Grand Canal in Ireland, similar to the lock that my Grandparents operated. Thank you for interesting Videos. New Jersey is a great place to see from Above!!! Hope you like my comment!!!!
I wouldn’t say “high class” celebrities… probably ever. Lol
this is ringwood, NJ
U forgot it has its own gas station restaurant club & fire station . Plus smoke rise gun club. ❤ I grew up there a huge blessing
Is camping allowed?
Can you suggest any small local bass fishing spots near conklintown road. Not popular with low pressure.
My aunt is your neighbor
Why can’t I find this building anywhere!? What street do you turn down to pull into it? This is off 517 correct?

I assume this Kinney person is why we have Kinnelon. '85 grad.
horrible audio, whoever's narrating.
The casino was the game room. All the internal infrastructure was installed just waiting to bring in the tables and slots. It struggled because Hefner's partner was skimming off the top from his other casinos in other location around the world
That's cool. Please don't take it as an I sult but u should take a public speaking class and so.etype of media news class so you can keep the audience I trusted in what your presenting. U almost have it bud but run on sentences and lack of being sure of your presentation in your voice and description it's kinda just n Blan
Thanks for the advice, I cringe when I hear myself talk too, I prefer being behind the camera than In front of it. Maybe I’ll take a lesson, why not.
The Americans was after playboy
Originally a Playboy Club
lol, it’s in the title
I moved to Kinnelon in 1985 at the age of eight I lived in Smoke Rise from 1985 to 1998. I worked for Smoke Rise security part time in HS and fulltime after HS , I also worked at the Smoke Rise stables with John Talbot Jr. and I was also a member of the Kinnelon Volunteer Fire Company. I served as a junior member for 2 years and a blackhat for another 2 before moving out of the county. Smoke Rise was and still is a beautiful place.
Me too! I grew up up there , married had kids but gone as of 2011:(
I lived in Smoke Rise 66-78. I practically lived at the lake. Thanks for bringing back some great memories.
So you say transportation can be offered at the free park and ride?
Private Lake community . While there are no gates etc It is very much frowned upon entering if : you are not a resident, have not been invited by a resident to visit, or are not a serivce provider that needs to do work there. I spent many a summer on the lake at my cousins lakehouse. The community is tight knit. Quite a few families have been there for generations. They have maintained a very safe and beautiful place. Advice to viewers: dont go there thinking you can just park and go swimming anywhere you want- there is no public access to the lake and the surrounding land, which is also owned by the Lake association.
Luckily there are a few properties available for sale and if someone is inclined to find a peaceful place to call home, Glen Wild, might be a good option.
My seventh grade bud and I could see Garret mtn out the school window from Glen Rock. We walked up there one day. There was an apple orchard part way up. Mc Intosh apples they were. Made it to the top. This was 1963. Quite the view from up there.
Thank you for making this video of my home town, and it has a lot of beautiful places to visit,
I grew up in Oakland from the mid-1950s and 1960s, with my family finally moving away in 1985. Oakland was a magical place to grow up, especially before the population boom. It was literally a Mayberry sort of town. I hung out at Mullers Park rather than Pleasureland, though they were botg great places during the summer. I learned to swim in the Ramapo river during summer activities for the kids. It was a terrible tragedy that visitors from NYC brought gun violence to Mullers Park, which resulted in it closing down because of the tarnished reputation. I still miss growing up in the woods of Oakland.
Drive SLOWER 😮
Next time the reservoir is low, you should take a flight over it. You will see roads, walls and bridges when it was farmland and homes.
Bart, love your videos! They have such a professional look to them. So happy to have found them.
Thank you, I really appreciate that
lived in boonton 20 years ago. i remember when the huge factory was where the walmart is now. saw it change and become a bit gentrified from the 90s
BRAVO
Thank yo
Great historic photos! Nice research. Like your old school pronunciation of Pequannock.
I appreciate the kindness. Thank you
Love the history and views on these videos!
Thank you for your support! We are working on fresh content :)
Love these videos, which I just discovered! I frequently run on the trails in Pompton Lakes and Wanaque, and enjoy seeing your overhead views, trying to figure out where they are.
Wow, this guy is a liar erskine lake is natural, upper erskine lake is not. Check your facts before you spread false news
I stayed there in the 90s when it was just a regular resort
'promo sm'
What’s that?
Thank you. That was a good video. I used to live in Wayne, NJ. I would like to see a video about the travels of Evelyn Nesbit in this area. I met her when I was a little boy in California.
I will look it up, thank you
I used to cross that fenced off bridge with my friends in high school. It was a chill nature spot to hang out that happened to be very close to everything local
The hinchcliff stadium had their grand opening yesterday and ribbon cutting ceremony it’s beautifully renovated and it has. Huge parking garage attached to it and Sunday tomorrow 2 baseball games and special guests hosting it right next to the falls this his historic for this stadium the falls is building new bridge At great falls
Hey man great video I live in the wood how come I don't know you I've lived here for like 40 years
My wife and I are pretty new in town. Since 2018 I think.
Any idea on how much frieght traffic still comes through here?
Over 4 trains a week, most of them are SU99 and SU100 which runs from Ridgefeild park, to Binghamton and back. There are also some local trains that service the industries at Pompton Junction which run mostly at night one day every week.
Great video- subscribed. What a find to stumble upon your channel! Can you help provide directions to the Hewitt Waterfall featured at the end? Not having great luck looking online
Dropped pin maps.app.goo.gl/67FUwKQbKbk4YuPP9?g_st=ic thank for watching!
