Backwoods BMP front bumper install on a 2016 Ski doo Renegade
I hope this helps some of you doing this install. It didn’t take long after I thought I through. DO NOT DRILL OUT your 2 bulkhead rivets if you have a skid plate. Just drill up from your new bumper mounting holes.

50” curved offroadtown , 784 watt light bar. Mounted to door frames and perfect clearance with flip up windshield. Still below highest part of roofline! lowered my total height from 87” to 80 1/2”. Sorry about the wind noise.

Needed more juice to run accessories and plow. Especially at night. 2nd battery solves the problem. I forgot to add in the video: some people will add a battery separator. I haven’t seen too many power tilt bed videos on the defender. I set it up on a wireless remote. Super easy and super convenient. $569 for power tilt bed kit, 19.99 for selenoid and 9.99 for wireless kit on eBay. Easy do it yourself project! Enjoy. #makinglifeeasier

Defender HD 10 XT with much needed upgraded battery. Odyssey pc1200. Much more reliable. Faster starts. Beast of a battery. Fits nice and snug. Just need to move all the wires that normally sit behind the battery, to the top.

I noticed the Rigid back up lights where the reflectors were, I did the same thing for my HD8 and they work great. Nice rig.

I don’t think they are bright enough when you drive at night. I do like where you put them. I put two 7” light bars on the top left and right pushed to the inside so they don’t get tangled in trees. The reason I used the light bar is because I will be plowing snow and need to see as much as possible so I don’t run into things. But yours was a good idea

I have the same bar and bracket as you but I have a 2023 defender pro and the bracket doesn’t seem to fit mine. I have to go up in the round part of the door for clearance and I have hard doors so the rubber doesn’t seal good. Did you have to modify the bracket any
What are your thoughts on the bed side rails? Do they offer much utility?

Read though these responses. I don’t remember now, but I know I responded to that a couple years ago. It’s a jeep bracket
I want them automatic so when I select reverse the lights come on day or night. Not via a switch. Yup use them on all the time. But that defeats the purpose and distracts the stop lights.

The kit was on eBay. Was a full plug and play with switch, but I can only see my purchases back to the beginning of 2020. Can’t remember what exactly was.
Sweet set up!. I have a defender and was wondering if you made the gun set up or purchased it? The current headache rack mounts in the same spot as the winch mount. I currently looking to do the same thing.

Good morning I see you have the roof liner do you need both pieces front and back or can I just use and mount the back cause my sound bar is up front
You don’t neeeeed the front plastic roof piece. There is a frame piece there. The plastic piece actually screws to it. You should still have that. The screen screws to the bottom of that. If this is what you were asking?

Did you have to move the wires behind the battery? I got the same battery and I can't get it to fit! Also the two Plastic bumps on the floor to keep the stock one from sliding seem to be in the way did you have to cut that flush with the floor?
It’s been a few years now, but I don’t remember any wires being in the way. I believe I just pushed them up and back. The top of the stock bracket would not fit. The front is in place, but using zip ties on the top to hold to front bracket. What year is yours? I don’t recall and floor bumps.

I have a 2023 defender on the way which has 30” factory tires. I don’t think the drop bracket western offers is going to be enough but we will see

When you installed the backup lights, what did you mean when you said you removed the fender, just the corner holding the taillights or the side piece? And do you have information on how you wired it up Thanks
Rear side fender removes very easily. Gives room to work. Basic wiring
how does the defender handle the western plow?
With stock springs or can am heavy duty springs….terrible. With S3 springs, great
I can only assume with S3 springs, the unloaded handling is bad
Actually no. I keep them on softest setting during the summer. Much less body roll in the turns. Then crank them up fully for winter since I put sand bags in the bed and the plow is 400 pounds

Why would you haul your machine backwards? I totally get the travel cover for eliminating rock chips on your front window but these machines are not made for being hauled backwards at 60 mph plus.
I hauled it backwards with the cover off. I don’t when cover is on. If I haul it forwards it will rip the soft doors off. Happened once and got them replaced.
Hello looking to add the same backup lights on my 2022 so my deflectors under tail lights my red popped out but still has a circle outline that sticks out how did you remvoce this it it just the center screw? Then once that’s removed what did you use to make sure your lights was centered in that area? And did the hole saw make that plastic rough? Or was it clean cut?
Center screw. Super easy. Home saw made perfect hole. Smooth.

Hey man. That stronghold cargo rack system with the gun boot attachment. Could you mount that with the snorkel kit installed. They say no on the web site but it looks like it should work.
How far do your snorkels stick out from the back and what height? I don’t think so. My gun boots sit pretty close. I could check for you though.
They might…the stronghold cuts in. There’s maybe 6-7” between gun holders and back window.

The XT model is apart of the X package line any model with an X in front of it is an X package. XT is the X package the T stands for Trail. XMR is an X package MR stands for Mud Ready.

What’s the height of the rope rail on your trailer? I’m wondering if your exact trailer would work for a Canam Limited and still allow the doors to open wide enough to get in and out?

Where did you fish your back up lights threw, being the bed tilts.
Where the bed hinges, they jump to the frame. Run along to the frame to the battery hole.
