Videos like this are important because I find that now a days, younger adults don't feel like they should have to struggle or go without. Now it's seems like things we used to consider luxuries have because parts of their everyday. like getting your names done every week?? I remember when manis were $10 for simple polish and $15 -$20 for gel, now getting your names done is at least $50! I only ever got my nails done as a treat or for an event. Going out to eat? is it just me or are people always eating out now? I blame social media. Before social media broke kids didn't know they were broke bc parents did so well at hiding it. Now they know.
Beautiful. You are a blessing. Thank you sister.
Your so precious god bless you. That cake looked superb ! Being from PUERTO RICO 🇵🇷 we love coco and your chili was perfect
Thank you, sweet friend! It was fun to make and so delicious! Praying for you today!
@ thank you I do need your prayers my friend we are still in the hospital…..it’s been over 30 days …..it’s scary and I’m alone here with him. My gentleman had a bone marrow transplant 💔🥺
I think you meant $1,800.00 a month….not 18,000🥴???!!
The hair in the dirt and cleaner. No.

❤️
Love this
Thank you! I appreciate your kindness! Praying for you today!!

❤️
Love this channel. ❤ When I was a beginner cook, my grandmother taught me to never break eggs directly into your other ingredients. If you get a bad egg, you’ve wasted all your other ingredients. So, 60 years later, I still break eggs into a cup before adding to a recipe. It makes it easier to pick out stray shell, too!
Incredible tip!! I really should have done that! I usually do but I got too excited 😆
Thank you for your warmth and encouragement!!!
The tips on buying meat is a great idea! I often just buy what I need but then on a stressful day I’m wishing I had something on hand to start with. I have been making freezer enchiladas and like to keep one ready to pop into the oven and have dinner in 30-45 mins without any fuss
Yay!! You can do it! It really does add up over time and it’s so helpful!!
So happy I found your channel! Finding homemaking/faith based content can be tough but I can totally relate to this. Cutting the parchment paper is GENIUS! I will be doing that from now on *_^
I’m so glad you’re here! I’m usually lazy and don’t cut the parchment paper but it was a game changer!
I just found your channel recently, and really like it! You have a very calming personality. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Cathy! Thank you so much! You are beautiful! I appreciate the support and encouragement!

@inacecilia Right back 'atcha!
I love and appreciate how real you are about motherhood. The way you describe going moment to moment and starting over, is exactly how I experience motherhood.
Aww Avalon, that is so sweet! Thank you! It really comes from my heart and I am glad it resonated with you! Praying for you! :)
Yes! Take a break this year! Love that. ❤
Doooooo it!
An inspirational video in these crazy troubled times. I love how you lean into your faith and trust in God's abundance.
Thank you so much, Suzanna! Often, I feel like it's all I have! But it's enough! :)
I always get inspiration from your videos. While I'm waiting for the next one, I rewatch former ones to get most of the message! I made a mistake regarding food a few years ago for Christmas. I though there need to be two special new meals a day and Christmas time lasts basically one week. So I totally spent too much time in the kitchen and was so tired of it, I made that year the decision that never again, and it was perfect from then on. This last month I've been cooking more from scratch, just inspired by you. Even if not all ingredients were at hand, I made adaptations and I got many compliments from my husband for new created meals. And I also spent 30 % less on groceries than the month before so I met my set goal! And one story regarding hospitality. A woman from church brought us a box of legos and in return I gave her a loaf of buckwheat bread (with the note Thank you for your kindness) and some drawings from my children, she was delighted! And I was so happy by her reaction. God bless and I wish all your family a great week! 🥰
Oh my goodness!!! I read that aloud to my entire family. This is one of the sweetest comments I have ever received! I am so happy to hear that I have made a difference in your life. You have made a difference in mine! I loved the stories you shared and I will never forget them!! I’m so happy to hear you touched the lives of those around you. Praying for you today and always!!! 💕❤️💕❤️
Your kindness has no limit, I'm so thankful for you! 🙏❤

My draw to homeschool is how you can tailor each child's education to their, needs, interests, and learning styles. I can try to give them an education that best benefits them personally. 💖
Yes! Because that's REAL LIFE! There is no one-size-fits-all way of learning and growing! I love this!

Thank you for being so encouraging and kind to me! You’re in my thoughts and prayers today!
@@inacecilia As you are in mine my sister. Arohanui whanau.
I find it so peaceful that you use hand mixers and can openers! While I do have a gifted KitchenAid stand mixer, I do not have an electric can opener or many more convenience items. For some reason, I prefer it. My coffee maker is super basic and I still often do drip coffee❤. Years ago, we had a local school that closed in my area and they were selling their food service items for garage sale prices. I was blessed to get about 2 garbage bags full of commercial food service items for about $10☺️. For the working Moms, one of my self care commitments to myself is to be present where I am present and let go of the rest. If I am at work, I am at work. However, when I am home, I am home. I pull over on my way home, wrap up where I am and let the rest go. I pray and have about 10 minutes of just silence so once home, I can fully be there for my Family. It provides me closure to my work day, serenity for the things I need to let go and allows me to focus my attention to my Family💕
Beautifully said, Ashley! Thank you for sharing! I love drip coffee! And OH MY GOODNESS, $10?!?! WHAT A STEAL! I'm so happy fo ryou! I really appreciate your self-care commitment! I'm going to take that one! You are a blessing and have inspired me! :)
My little one is 7. Last one in the nest…She is into crafts and projects! On All Saints Day, we clean the Graves and put flowers where needed. She loves to paint, make snow globes and make bracelets. Lately, she is into making Rosaries(She’s in Catholic School). Every Year, we make a DIY ornament and it’s for our tree. We live in Louisiana, so a couple we did were a Red Bean and Rice Ornament(literally with a couple of the ingredients we already were cooking for dinner.. We took a plain glass fillable ornament, added dry rice, dry red beans, and dry green onions and decorated with ribbon❤. Last Year, I saved leftover Oyster shells from a dinner. We boiled an scrubbed them and painted them as Angels! It’s Family Time, budget friendly and making memories. I cook from scratch instead of prepackaged mostly. It’s cost effective for the most part and I find it therapeutic and peaceful💕. I am not at a point where I can be a true Homemaker yet, but that’s the journey. For now, balancing family and corporate life🙏🏼
Ashley, this is so beautiful! I feel like we need to be next-door neighbors :) And guess what? YOU ARE A HOMEMAKER! I work outside of the home, too. This is simply a snapshot of my weekend/fringe hour life! I pray that we both will be full-time at home, too!
I absolutely love these outfits! I am not catholic, but I, too, have been feeling called to veil both in church and during prayer times. 💖
Do it! So beautiful! :)
This is such a good message. I have a medical condition that causes a lot of exhaustion. I have started telling myself, take care of yourself, but do something today. Even if it's just folding blankets or knitting while I sit in bed, I feel better knowing that I accomplished something. This video was really good encouragement. 💖
Oh Britney, I will pray for you! I am not ruling out medical conditions because I know that makes things exceedingly more difficult! I am glad that you saw through my message to know that anything is possible, even during our hardest struggles! :)
This is such a critical topic, and we should all be thinking about it. I say that from 36 years of blowing my income and getting deeper into debt. At 36 I was pregnant, and we did a 180 financially and started the Dave Ramsey program. When my child had just turned 2, I came home full-time, pregnant with baby #2, and we lived on my husband’s teacher salary. But in 6 years, we were debt free. Being debt free and living on a modest income is, for us, far more rewarding than both of us working, both of us spending all the time, and being in debt. I wish I had smartened-up in my early 20’s.
Thanks for sharing that insight, Katie! I agree with you! It's so easy to fall off the wagon and get into some bad habits if we aren't mindful! God bless you for sharing this!
Some of the best advice I got when my first daughter was a baby was to enjoy your children at every stage. She said, one day you're saying I can't wait until they can do things on their own, and the next they are grown up and moved out and you miss doing things for them. Every stage is a blessing, no matter how hard it is. 💖
You are absolutely right! There's joy in every season and I am seeing that, too!
I love taking my kids to the library when the weather is not good enough to go to the park. My little ones play in the play center, and my older daughter plays on the computer. It's a great way to get out of the house, play with different toys and game, and sometimes there are other kids to play with. Plus we bring home books, videos, and even borrow games and puzzles. They love it.💖
Yes! The Library is the best! Thank you for blessing my day with your ideas!
I love seeing easier and cheaper recipies. Some channels are amazing, but they definitely have bigger budgets and some of their recipes seem a little intimidating. I am a very beginner cook right now. These look amazing and like I could make them.💖
I'm so glad it inspired you, Britney! Stay tuned for more! Keep going!
It's clean already
Haha, thanks Nancy! The camera angle is deceptive ;) God bless you!
👋 hi your breads look 👀 fantastic xx❤❤❤❤
Thanks, Cathey! It was SO YUMMY!!
I congratulate you on doing a video that is very realistic, one that almost everyone should be able to duplicate. You're not out there trying to convince people that you can serve 5 to 8 people with two cans of turkey from DT mixed in with a box of stuffing. There are many options available out there. First, if you are on a low income, you can join a food bank and at most of them receive a free turkey at this time of year. I was proactive. One of my local supermarkets back in Sept was selling frozen turkey breasts for .69/lb. I bought a 4lb as it is only myself. Or there are supermarkets out there that offer "free" turkeys if you spend $300 to $400 over a 6 to 8 week period. For a single or a couple this might not be possible but with a family it should not be a problem. Then there are many supermarkets in this country selling turkeys for .49/lb. I live in downstate NY, one of highest costs of living in the U.S. and all these options are available.
Hi Elizabeth! Thank you so much for sharing these very real numbers! I agree with you completely! I just took a photo at my local grocery store that advertised a free turkey for spending $125 during a certain date range, and I plan to take full advantage of that! I think even if you plan ahead with that in mind and freeze a turkey for after Thanksgiving, that would be so smart! God bless you for sharing your additional ideas!
The trick with Thanksgiving Leftovers, is to portion it out for a meal a week, that way you don't get tired of the "same thing" after 2 days.
Great tip! Thank you for sharing! :)
Another great video! Thank you! Xx
Thank you very much! You have no idea how much your encouragement motivates me to keep going and trying to encourage other women like us! God bless you!
When our kids were younger and we were homeschooling in our small house, I used my stainless steel frig as a chalkboard by writing on it with dry erase markers. It helped save on paper.
Wow! GENIUS! That just blew my mind. Thank you!!!
Smart idea!!? 😁
I want to say one more thing and I'm not trying to be mean. It's people who know nothing about cooking and they are going to follow you step by step. Please wash Al poultry, someone could not clean the poultry and could make the family/guest very sick after all the meat has been sitting in blood.
Hi Candee! I appreciate you for saying so! You are awesome!
Did she take that meat out of the pack and not wash it 😮omg
Maybe, maybe not ;)
John 14:6 New King James Version 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Amen!
Encouraging video, thank you!!!🙏
Thank you for the sweet words, Sarah! I hope it was helpful for you and for others out there! :) God bless you!
u burned it ma’am
I'm not perfect! :) They were still yummy!
