do you no what your doing
Hey i hav a d4000 have a bita bother with a knotter it tyes the knot perfectly but the knot is inclined to wrip or break after have u any solution
👍🏼
Looks a lot of grass at the second farm chopper seems to be going very well
Watch that air fitting got a nasty habit of leaking ones you have had them apart shit idea
Touch wood all good so far 🤞🏻
A valtra driver complaining that the controls of any other brand are odd 😅 Just playing, good stuff
I’ve got far more hours under my belt in a valtra than any other make everything else is odd to me 🤣
Whats the verdict mf or valtra, how many bales would you do per hour with no knifes up, great content👌
Fergy has a better gearbox and it feels a bit more pokey but valtra has got a better turning circle better hydraulics and a better cab. I’d like to think you’d get over 30 bales a hour but for the price you’d want it to be faster. Thanks for the support
you have to make a lot of bales to payback 85000!
I figure it makes £2 per bale and by the time you add servicing to that £85,000 you’ve easily got to be pushing 50,000 bales before your really making money. New machinery is insane
What is wrong with the drop floor!
Great stuff you're handy on the tools
If I remember right, 20t gross weight, 18t payload and 2t nose weight. Being an Austrian built she’s built for a euro hitch so light on the hitch👌
That makes sense not ideal for our hills
@@samsymes123 you could just strap a ton on where the head was or chop where the head was out. It’ll be nice to tow, just not when you need weight on the rear tractor wheels. I used to have mogs soo used those hitch set ups😁
Whats your preference squares or rounds
Square for straw round for everything else
Great video, keep them coming 👍
Some lad! 😂 cracking content cheers
What size are those bales
The 4 stringer is 80X70 and the 6 stringer is 120X70
Always a good day when fetch a video on
Assuming they’ve sorted the fuel gauge in the N5s to stop it lying 24/7? The mechanic side of the videos mixed in with work is mega makes properly good videos
Thanks had a new fuel sender under warranty fixed some issues but it’s very much 75% of the fuel is in the top half of the gauge once you pass half way it just disappears
Loving the vids mate
Your some man for 1 man
Just you wait 🙃
Hello! I saw in the video that you have belts for your Krone CF155XC. I'm interested in the price of them in your place. I have to change belts myself. Please record the exchange to save me trouble :).
Good timing my old ones snapped yesterday so will be making a video shortly of fitting the new ones they cost £4,200 but we had 25% off all krone parts back in the winter so saved a bit of money there
hey... I'm very glad that the video is coming... good price... . I follow your videos you're great
My new favorite vlog channel great vid, im also hoping to start doing some keep up the good work 👍
Get a pto guard, really not worth not having one👍
Always good when it works out hahaha fairplay
Ive fitted another spiral spreader roller for the net where it goes under the bottom bar, it will fit where the bar that turns is. Made it alot better. Ive extended the spirals on them by about another 6 inches each side aswell on both spiral rollers.
Good idea I’ll have to try that sometimes it takes to long to spread but that’s sounds like a genius solution
Yes more fixing I like them videos and the commentary 😂
Any advice on buying a krone
Just buy it you can’t go wrong 🤣
Great content
How much does silage cost to cut an acre
Whole job cut to clamp is about £75 per acre
How much do you allow per acre for running your own gear, time, diesel
Dunno we just do it 🤣
How much do spend on parts there
Shear bar is about £600 can’t remember the rest but would be under £1,000. For the acreage and tons they do the krones are cheap to run
Wagon grass or forager grass?
Forager all day
Do the valtras give much bother- whats the bench mark for determining acceptable levels of breakages parts cost per hour
Historically we’ve ran them to high hours had 2 over 25,000 hours. they will all do over 10,000 hours before we part with them. The air valve was £100 the spool was around £400 and the hitch was a faulty position sensor. Usually the threshold for selling would be 12,000-13,000 hours depending on how well their doing
Hello, how satisfied are you with the krone cf 155 press?
Tbh I’ve never used any other round baler but the Comprima is on 50,000 bales and doesn’t take to much to keep going and makes a good bale
@@samsymes123 I have krone combi pack 1250, would like to switch to cf155.
@@KURBADDS tbf this is the first round baler I’ve ever used I just bought it to stop doing so much silage with the square balers and I’ve just demoed a new Massey 3130 fixed chamber combi baler and I can’t say it’s that much better than what I’ve got there will be a video to come shortly
hows he keep up on the pit in that little tractor
We’ve got a lot of smaller fields do by the time we’re messing around with headlands and moving he gets plenty of time to roll
More videos please
very very fascinating but im struggling to hear you, keep up the videos tho
Them air couplings use a pair of circlip pliers on them. But give them a good blow with the air line first make sure it’s clean.
That is a good idea you sound like a very knowledgeable chap
Ur handy with the spanners lad did u serve ur time as a mechanic or just self taught......have u many acres and livestock.....keep up good vids bro
No I’ve just fucked around and found out enough that I can kinda look like I know what I’m doing 🤣 about 1,000 acres and over 1,000 head of cattle some dairy some beef and a few bloody sheep mixed in
What can't you fix 😊
A lot of things but every days a school day
Great video
Hi sham
Aha did you make it to the end?
@@samsymes123I did. Does it blow any better?

Gone from one extreme to the next grounds dry grass has turned into hay 🙃
Love the commentary aswell. Would be great if you keep the camera a little more steady.
Sometimes I feel the audio could be a little better too. Thanks for the constructive criticism it’s nice to know where I need to improve
@@samsymes123 Gotta start somewhere right.
The more videos I watch the more baffled I get like the n174 I use struggles with front and back non conditioner whilst yours just loves it, Enjoying the content not many decent creators on the app
Tbf I find if I have to uses the krone single back mower with conditioner it isn’t enough load on the pto to get the pto boost so instead of being 200hp it’s only 165 makes a big difference. Thanks for the positive comment appreciate it 🤙🏻
No luck catching them swans then
The greatest movie ever made!
Love your videos especially when your fixing something, keep them coming,, also your commentary is brilliant 😂
Glad it’s running well, your commentary cracks me up! I bet your welding is better than my bird shit attempts. Could you shorten the chassis where the wagon rotor sat and make it shorter and better balanced. The rotor and pick up would add serious weight to the front to balance the load. Good idea tho cheap reset steer trailer! 👍
Thanks for the positive comment! My biggest concern with shortening it is strength I wouldn’t want it to snap on the road and injure someone. But everyone who’s pulled it says their surprised buy how manoeuvrable it is for its size so I’d feel safer extending the floor and body to the front to fill the gap and transfer weight. Either way it’ll be a big project
Having been in your shoes a few times, i think i would be inviting those trailer drivers to sit in the cab for a load or two and see how far back their trailers are compared to the bottom of the spout!
Before we had our own forager we worked closely with a contractor and he always said whenever a trailer pulls up beside you they always park the tractor under the spout not the trailer and he was so right
Kuhn mowers have removable shield plates right where you have the blades grazing the mower. I had similar issue last year but after 20 euro and couple hour repair it was like new.
How have you got the back mower to that joystick? Have got front and back for an N174 and it’s just a slut having to yank the stick then yank the spool
If you’ve got factory fitted front linkage and front loader with the electric changeover between them you will have a 3rd mid mount spool but it won’t be piped to anything I just ran pipes from that to the backend
