Kitchen drain cleaning- DIY pipe jetting
I've never cleaned the kitchen drain yet, and it started to clog up. The dishwasher pushed the water back to the sink, so I know it is high time to clean the 50 mm PVC pipe. I did not want to have any mechanical solution, as I was worried it would destroy the piping. I'm a bog fan of the Drain unblockers and the Drain Addict channels, so decided to by a jetter that can be attached to my pressure washer and give it a go. Check how it turned out!

Dell Optiplex 7020 gaming upgrades
I have been using this optiplex 7020 as my main system for a year now. I bought it used, and as the warranty ran out, it was high time to rebuild it a bit. I wanted to have a better power supply, a secondary ssd and an intake fan. All worked out pretty well, and this system is till ok for devent 1080p gaming. I had some concerns that the 400W PSU will not be ok, just because of the 5V rail powe...
How to replace UPS battery. Simple Eaton e5 850i USBDIN battery replacement.

Every couple of years my UPS battery dies, it was time to replace again (this is my second battery replacement). So it again got a new CSB 9Ah battery for about 30 EUR. After replacement uptime is again useful.
How to make a DAC+AMP docker phone case
I've had an Audioquest Dragonfly for a while now, but could never use it conveniently with my phones, as it needs an OTG cable. My OTG is quite stiff, and the whole weight of the OTG cable, the Dragonfly and the headphone cabe is wearing the phone's USB-C socket basically. So I figured it would be very nice to unload the socket somehow and make a phone case that can dock similar DAC AMPs. In th...
How to fix a chipped tile
On the stairs of our terrace the tiles are not properly supported on the edges, and thes break. I did not want to redo the whole thing, so started fixing it crack by crack. I fixed one crack earlier with silicone caulk, it turned out pretty good. This time I was wondering how well tile grout would do. Time will tell. This video can help you in gaining confidence of doing such small fixes. Defin...
How to fix Siemens washing machine drum turn issue, why the fake E18?
It seems I have a series of home appliance failures. This time the washing machine gave up. It was really interesting, as it gave a drain system related error. Observing it more carefully I realized it had no issue with taking or draining the water, but the drum did not turn. After some research the carbon brushes became the main suspects. Luckily you can remove one without removing the motor t...

How to fix E15 in Siemens dishwasher (workaround fix)
We have been having this Siemens diswasher for 8 years now. Every now and then it produces E15 error code, which suggests leak in the system. Water can come from many sources, so the error can usually be cleared with soaking up the water from the base palate. Note if you see substantial amount of water, or error reappers fast, you shall look for the real root cause of the leak by all means or a...
I built a cool DIY headphone that sounds terrible! See how it turned out!
We had a broken tablet, that I could not repair, so decided to reuse as many parts for new projects as possible. You could see in earlier videos, that I really like headphones, so came the idea to build my own headphone. First I wanted to build it from Lego, this was dropped after some experimenting, so I returned the usual scrap material approach. I have had tons of experiments and many failur...

I startet to make a diy armwrestling table for family and friend events. Insmiration came from the upcoming armwrestling match of Devon and Michael. The whole thing is very simple and is made completely of waste materials, so we can say this is indeed a budget build. Big disappointment, Bosch router LED failure - let's fix it on budget!
My Bosch POF 1400 ACE router has 2 LED lights to luminte the work area. Indeed a very useful feature, I love it. But lately it started to miss out. So I disassembled the whole tool to look inside. This was a completely unnecessary step as it turned out later. In the video I cover 2 chapters, first is the fix for the actual problem briefly, and then the complete disassembly in part 2. I was very...
DIY AC adapter for your camera - infinite video recording, aka the wooden battey
I found my wife's old compact camera. Though it is not particularly useful for today's image quality standards, I was curious if I could make it work by making my own DIY AC adapter for it. Weirdly nowadays you cannot power your camera from AC source through USB connectors for example, you have to buy a separate AC adapter, which can be pretty expensive, or in case of an older model not even ac...
Turning a butcher's block into an awesome retro coffee table

Works!! Thank you so much
I have a Siemens, a smaller version, but I had the exact same issue, and thanks to you, I fixed it myself in 15 min, instead of the repair guy that wanted to charge me 500 dollars or to change for a new one. THANKS YOU VERY MUCH !
Thanks bro 👍👍👍
Grazie, è stato molto utile!!
It worked. God bless u ❤
It is only temporary and isn’t a fix. The problems can be many. The collar of the salt reservoir maybe loose. The pump seal ring is defective. The heat/water exchanger is leaking… and and.
Cheers Scrappers
did you leave the towel in there afterwards ?
no
Thank you so much, helped me a lot today ;)
Thank you sir. Solved my problem. But my question is how does the water get there in the first place?
this is the million dollar question
We found a Eaton 5E 850i USB DIN that had been left by the previous owners when we moved in our new home. It had clearly been sitting unused for a long time and I found out the battery was drained or flat after watching this video and opening it. I decided to try to "jump start" the battery with a 20V rechargable battery from a cordless drill to get the volts up high enough for a battery charger to start charging it. After trickle up, floating charging and desulfurization which the "smart" charger did automatically repeated 3 times the voltage seemed to not drop under 12.6V. The UPS has now been running for 24 hours supplying surveillance cameras and internet router with electricity. So far so good.
So today there was a power outage and the UPS performed perfectly.
Thank you very much its help me.
Worked well, thanks, hope it lasts, I guess it depend how the water got in there.
Tilt the dishwasher if there is water in it ,it will drain and error will go away
Thank you for this video. It helped to fix the DW by myself.
Thanks for saving me time and money ! We need more good samaritans like you 🙏🏻 bless you
Thank you! A very clear video.
Thank you, was super helpful!!
if you could avoid shaking the camera, it would be perfect; thank you anyway
Ty you so much 🎉
I see no water. I only see brown stuff so maybe a little water some day. Now totally dry. Keeps getting the error. Any suggestions?
check if the plate is stuck/moves freely
@@tomscrapwood7883 thx. I worked when it "moved" it around a bit. You sir, are a legend!
thank you so much, it works 😆
Thanks my friend! You solved my problem!
Nice one mate! The solution to my problem. After i fixed the machine and told the mrs. about the cause of the error, she suddenly remembered that she accidentaly splashed several litres of water all over the kitchentable earlier today right above the dishwasher, and the error occured right after that. COME ON, HOW CAN YOU NOT CONNECT THE DOTS WOMAN!? That info coulf have saved me so much time 🤣 instead I startet seaching for broken gaskets. haha. I guess she thinks the same when I fuck up the laundry.. again..
Life saver thanks
You are the best! I just fixed my dishwasher! Have a nice day 👌👍
Thanks a lot, I foll followed your actions exactly on my dishwasher, and yes! Now works again! Thanks!
Is it alright for small gaming like stuff for steam stair out the box?
could you be more specific?
@@tomscrapwood7883 can it run steam decent
Great video! My dishwasher lives on🙏
Omg this saved me a lot of money. And on 23of december ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Tom, sorted and dishwasher working again
This was brilliant. Thank you for making this video.
Thanks Tom ! Very good vid , My dishwasher is back working 100% . 10/10
What a pleasant surprise, a useful video that help us save money.
Thank you !
Another quick “fix” is to wait a day and tilt your machine. Than it works again for a few days. But probably the filter basket rubber is leaking. So you need to replace that thing.
I think I will turn this into a workbench instead of their standard one. This seems so much more solid.
neat idea! it is ineed quite sturdy
@@tomscrapwood7883 Thanks! I think it is the better option compared to their standard workbench. I’ve watched videos of people using that, and it rocks all over the place, whereas this kind seems quite sturdy during use. Using this will also allow me to put a bigger working area on top, since the legs are spread quite far apart and the slits for attaching tools run quite wide. Having the rolls for lumber will be perfect. I’m very curious to see how it works out!
Do you have the type/description of the screw you used to open the panel? Looks like a star shaped thing that I don't have here! Thanks
it is a torx screw. most of the bit sets you can buy contain those.
Fixed my dishwasher today thanks to this video. Thanks!
Great video, had no idea what to do and then I watched this and fixed it in no time.
Thank you for the video! Saved the day!
I say thankya, Sai Tom. U saved our diswasher. Greeting from Slovakia.
I have a situation with mine, 1500I, where even after unplugging everything and turning the UPS off, it still beeps (around every 2 seconds) with the fan running. Is it safe to replace batteries while it's in that state?
that sounds weird, man! I cannot responsibly answer your question though, there are high voltage cables inside.
@@tomscrapwood7883 Thanks still for taking the time to answer. I was advised that it's safe to disconnect the battery even while it's in that state. After doing so and replacing the batteries, the UPS remained off. Once I turned it back on, the beeping stopped. In case this is of help to anyone else.
We've had our NEFF (exactly the same machine as the Siemens unit in this vid) for over 10 years now and this morning it threw up the E-15 Error. After following your vid, step by step, the error has gone and the dishwasher is working perfectly again. Thanks @tomscrapwood7883
Thanks brother. Worked like a charm. Greetings from Germany.
Can’t go wrong with the old Optiplex.
The way my dishwasher has been built in doesn't allow me to reach out unfortunately. Bummer
how does yours look like?
Moral of this ordeal is this, DO NOT BUY A BOSCH DISHWASHER!!!!!! I’m a single woman and this is ridiculous!!!! I used to have a kitchenAid and never had these issues
Yeah, it is really annoying. We just bought a HYGIENISK from Ikea into our new house (made by Electrolux), I'm curious to see if it will be more reliable. Comes with 5 years warranty though.
