Why does no one show reconnecting the plastic inlet to the airbox. Getting that rubber piece to seat was by far the trickiest thing to figure out.

The sticky tape came with it so it will help the cover from not moving during the installation. You don’t have to but it helps to keep it in place .

Is it necessary to put sticky tape? Is it problem for remove glue in futur? Thnx

Hi. Thanks for the trail preview. I assume you are riding south toward Princeton in this video? I never made it that far north to Amwell Road on the canal. I ride Bordentown to Trenton. I rode it through Princeton about 20 some years ago and coming back from NYC I ended up on Canal Rd late at night into Princeton but not certain where I got on it. I usually cross the Raritan at Landing Lane going to NYC but was wondering if you know if it’s possible to make it as far on the canal heading north to the Main Street bridge to cross over the Raritan? I might try to check this route out later this year.

I think the airflow direction is downward for the cabin filter while you mentioned it to be upward. I am confused as other videos also mention it downwards. thanks for the engine air filter steps and they helped a lot.

Edit: have you upgraded your tweeters before installing this? While I really would love to put this cover over my dash I'm currently waiting for my aftermarket stock amp (mobile max car audio amp/speakers) once I've installed those and my after-market head unit, I'll then put the dash cover on. I love my 06 Acura TL. But most of all is how great it handles and all of the aftermarket parts that can be purchased. I feel your pain... I had almost just purchased a new dash (it was $600 plus....) but after seeing this cover in person I felt it did a great job of covering the cracks. Thanks for the video!!!!

Not gonna lie, is it bad that I used regular a lot of times for my TSX 08?? Like, let’s say I used ONLY regular gas for my car for like 2-4 months..except performance, would that affect my engine or anything that’s harmful in that span of time? Or I got nothing to worry about at all Because I’m bout to use premium now finding this out.

Bro I hate to break the news but you have an 04-06 model. The 07-08 TLs have three pressures switches. I believe two 3rd gear switches and one 4th gear switch. The 3rd and 4th you replaced are roughly in the same location on the 07-08 but there’s another 3rd gear on the back of the trans by the firewall. That one I need help locating. Just letting you and everyone who reads these comments know bc there’s very little info on the 07-08 replacement procedures and even littler info on that tricky additional 3rd pressure switch somewhere behind the trans. Thanks for the content. ✌️

I got the spare tire from a minivan Honda. It’s a 17 but it fits my Acura 2023. It fits right in the trunk. I put a rubber mat over the battery it and everything fits. You just gotta take the big round piece out. Costs me 50 bucks

This a transmission bypass filter. The transmission filter is located inside the transmission. Be sure to use Honda parts including new crush washers. Be careful when reassembling and don’t over torque the screws (stripping them). The fluid loss is minimal, but if the fluid hasn’t been changed it might be a good idea to change the fluid at this time (it is rather simple and easy to do). Check out youtube videos on transmission fluid change on the Acura. Acura videos are plentiful and saved me many trips to the dealer for service.

arrow on cover is only for cover installation direction. All Honda techs replace the filter with air flow downward. great video otherwise!
