Diesel engine won't rev ? Try this first ! Free fix.
If your old diesel engine starts up but won't rev even if you floor it, there's a big chance that the tiny mesh filter under the banjo bolt entering the high pressure pump is clogged.
Have a look at that first since it's an easy job, and I also give you some other leads that might help you solve a problem with an engine that won't run well.

Thank you very much for this tutorial. This is the first video that shows where the door lock actuator is attached to the lock. Since I have a problem with my passenger side actuator not working, I am planning on replacing it. I have seen videos with people extracting the actuator without disassembling the whole lock, but rather without installing it back... How is the axtuator connected to the lock? Do you think it is possible to reinstall it blindly?

Thank you very much for the video. I have a BMW 325 E36 Cabrio, 1994. The function that lowers the windows when I open the doors does not work. On most of these cars I see that they have the latch striker on the door frame, but it doesn't happen on mine. Do you think it can be found inside the door? In that case, how could I solve it? The rest works fine: the windows go down, one tuch… Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge

I do love my car and would do what I can to fix it. Without going to the shop or if I have too. I Have others too. That helps me a lot. I want to learn how to do this too and save money. I'm having a leak issue right now and I can smell it. Even though I replaced the water pump.

@@fab-b9818 about that trim tool, sorry kind of just getting into the DIY on mine. Is it just called a trim tool, or does it have a particular measurement? Also, do you have a full list of tools you used for the job? Thanks for the help!

I think they're just called trim removers, but I'm not familiar with tool names in english, most of my videos are done in french on my other channel. You'll need a jack, jack stands, a torque wrench if possible, female E Torx sockets if I remember well, some flat wrenches... but I can't remember everything.

Litle tip: notice the 2 small metal "dots" exposed at the top of each small fuse? Have a multi meter set to ohms, and press each of your probes onto those metal "dots" to test each small fuse without having to remove them at all.

Thank you for doing this. You made it easy to follow, so easy, I can do it! I will be doing mine this weekend and thanks to you I just went ahead and ordered all new mounting hardware. It is worth the $100 to just use new stuff. My car has 125k miles and lived in Germany, I am sure I will encounter some rusty nuts and bolts. Leave it to BMW to make the hardest part - removing the interior trim bits. My only recommendation? Next time please use jack stands! Seeing that jack as the only thing holding up the car made me terribly nervous! 🙂
