My mother moved us to the Sunburst cult in 1978. The children were used as free labor. The boys (myself) were repeatedly physically assaulted. The girls were raped from the age of 13 to 14. They ran drugs and guns. When we kids rebelled, they rounded us up deemed us as not following the ways of enlightenment, picked out those they considered disruptive to be excommunicated. They then separated us. To this day I suffer from the permanent damage at the hands of Norm Paulsen's bodyguards. It was common that girls would be held captive on the claim that they were being instructed on how to meditate. We were taken to an isolated bit of property in the Los Padres where the two girls that came with us were repeatedly raped. We were trapped there. The accounts of my experiences are far too numerous to lay out in the comments section. I worked on all the properties and the Star pilot fishing schooner. Drugs and alcohol were the staple for Norm and his thugs. My mother still lives there. You cannot convince these people of their crimes. They worship Norm to the bitter end. I have reached my tethers end with these people. If you are interested in interviewing me, I would love to do so. I will email my details. Thank you.

Questions for WM 3 supporters: Why has Damien needed to lie so often? Lies he’s been caught in. Why did he commit perjury on the witness stand? How did he know specific things about the crime before they were made known? Why did he describe himself as “Homicidal”? Why was he seen in muddy clothes walking from the crime scene at 9:30 at night? Why was the EXACT same kind of blue wax, found on one of the boys, also found in the trailer where Echols lived? Why did Damien taunt the families of the victims? Why did Damien and Jessie fail their polygraphs so conclusively? Why did Damien discuss sacrificing his first child with his ex-GF? Why did he later draw a picture of child sacrifice? Why did Damien lie about his alibi that the “phone girls” completely destroy? Why did virtually EVERYONE who knew Echols immediately think he did it?? (Some of whom were people he literally stalked). Why did Echols confess to William Jones? Why did Echols confess to Ken Watkins? Why did Jessie confess 6 times, including after conviction and against his own attorney’s advice? Why did Jessie later state he made up several details at the Police confession to try and “trick police” and because “I was scared”? Why was the smashed whiskey bottle found exactly where Jessie threw it after leaving the scene traumatized? Why was blood splatter found exactly where Jessie said Chris was mutilated? Why did Damien offer up incredibly disturbing details of the Killer’s mindset, including that the killers probably felt good about hearing the boys’ screams? Why did Echols tell the Police “I’ll tell you everything”, but then Lawyers up after speaking to his mom? Why did Damien say “I am the Devil’s servant. He tells me what to do and I do it.”? Why did he brag about killing the boys at the softball game? And saying he’s going to kill two more? Why did he say the softball girls were lying, but later days they weren’t, but that he was just joking? Why was Echols’ Exhibit 500 compiled by HIS Defense attorneys to avoid the death penalty for him?

My sister was in this cult. I attended the church services a few times. It was bizarre; 3,000 people yelling and shrieking in tongues. It was completely insane, and Barrnett was an evil man. They allowed church members no books (other than the Bible), no music (other than terrible church music), no films, no newspaper, no magazines, no news, nothing but the church and its horrible ideas. They also gave nothing to charities or helped anyone outside the church. Don Barnet used church funds for his "spiritual connections" (young women) and vacations to Hawaii. When the church fell apart, it broke my sister and she later died of an opiate overdose. Barnet is dead and the church of Agape is gone. It was an awful sex cult. It's hard for me to understand years later how over 3,000 people could be so completely insane and follow such a vile evil man as Barnet.

70 percent of the country believed the bible in the 80s and 90s. The idea that anyone who listened to Metallica and wore black was a possible satanist is just laughable. The whole of generation x would have been suspected satanists if that were the case 😆. We all listened to Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth etc and Aliester Crowley was a popular figure only because of Ozzy. The "satanic panic" existed nowhere in reality. It existed on TV. It existed on Geraldo and on talk shows and on the mainstream media who invented it for ratings in the same way they've created the panic about white supremacists being under every fucking rock in recent years. It's all BULLSHIT!
