What a fab video. Thank you for explaining in detail PPD/PPP/Baby Blue’s. I just had my first baby 3 months ago and PP Anxiety hit me like a tonne of bricks. Even though my baby was a much wanted IVF baby, I wasn’t prepared for the mental strain of becoming a mother. It’s a very strange phenomenon. And I have to say, your videos have been a god send for me during those long lonely nights since she was born, so thank you again ♥️

I watched a documentary on Andrea Yates years ago and that’s how I developed a better understanding of her stare of mind and postpartum psychosis. I feel so bad for her. I too feel her husband played a big part in what happened.

Suicide awareness is another terrible thing that needs to be brought up more so people know they are not alone and someone out there cares. Thanks for the great content!

It’s weird to hear of high security mental health hospitals like the ones Andrea Yates have stayed. I think like asylums but they legitimately rarely exist anymore. We don’t even have any severe long-term mental health hospitals where I live.

Wow - u do ur research - thats great. I totally support the suicide hot-line - i 've dealt with depression & its symptoms & sometimes thots of suicide were a reflection of these symptoms. 4get abt my past tho - i am a fan of true-crime - not to give anyone any ideas to commit crime. My mom went thru post-partum depression & lets just say the way she told me she felt & the ideas that were running thru her head were pretty scary. But she loved all 3 of us & made the right decisions. Wat Andrea Yates did was tragic but was it an act of desperation FOR her children? Or just an act of murder? Her husband wanted the children home-schooled so they wud be shut off from the world & so they wud only learn christian fundamental values - isolating the little-ones from reality - like a double-edged sword this has the capacity to not only harm the personal-growth of the children but ìt cud actually allow them to mis-interpret the world outside of their environs when they actually do get released into the world as adults. It was bcuz of this case that my mother revealed her experience with post-partum depression & i was totally beside myself with empathy for my mother & Andrea Yates. Ty 4 re-visiting this trajedy.
