Sorry there is a pause for about 7 minutes toward the end! I couldn't figure out why there were no comments and then I noticed and wrapped up the show
Why are you interview this ex-gangster?, his not a good person, there are very good people in Cambodia with good culture, we dont know why he keeps on asking for donation in his videos while he has money.
Sorry you feel that way. It is true he keeps asking for money, but right now, TH-cam is his only source of income unless he picks up some odd jobs. There are a lot of really good successful Cambodians, so I will do more interviews with them and also expats. Thanks for watching!
catch you on the flip side

Just came off the line. Found out LOOKOUT Fire went viral with
Damn I didn’t know TH-cam puts the adds on people’s videos without monetization
I think TH-cam has a service you can sign up for that removes ads, so they must be pushing people to pay for that by inserting more ads when you don't have it!
Thank you Maven🥲😎

You are brilliant..I was rolling truck tires and packing my box truck this morning while listening to your lecture.I joked with one of my brainwashed MAGA Co workers.this morning .I told him I was busy getting reprogrammed..You have no idea how bad it's getting here in the states..This fool is picking fights with NATO allies..and threatening to annex sovereign countries..He does not have an understanding of about foreign policy because he does not read books..Anyway,I am 7 months away from resigning from my job..And Cambodia here I come
I hope your escape from the craziness goes as planned and Cambodia welcomes you with open arms!
Great job..one of the best history lessons ever.I know I have to treat you to lunch onve I get over there
thank you, and I look forward to it!
And she made it, as expected.

Staying in Riverside areas is like staying near Times square and acting surprised it is loud, dirty and 'sleazy'. Get real, do your homework and stop complaining. All of Phnom Penh is hectic, not unlike most other SE Asia cities, but you are far safer in Phnom Penh (except maybe crossing busy streets..lol) than in any major US city. Don't go to Cambodia expecting Palm Springs or Overland Park, Kansas. It is unrealistic, if not delusional. If you want Western comfort and standards, stay in the US. I love Cambodia for being Cambodia, warts and all. We don't need crybaby expats. Do your own research and stop relying on 'experts' to tell you everything you are too lazy to research.
Hi Kevin, thanks for sharing your insight! Since I have lived in Cambodia for 17 years, I agree with you about how people moving here shouldn't have unrealistic expectations. Sorry if it sounded like I was complaining. I actually made this video in answer to a request by someone who commented on my other video about the BEST place to live in Phnom Penh. Maybe you would like that one better, as it shows a variety of what's available on Chroy Changvar.
watching on the replay to give you some hours❤ I had an engagement

Merrrist of CHRISTMAS MAVEN 🎄🎄🎄🎄
Merry Christmas!
Shoot I was up but getting wifey out to work just now looked at phone!ahh! Merry Christmas CHUNNY !
You got the puzzle. Stan Newman in the Newsday has harder than NYT Saturday Crosswords(he's the editor there I believe). Stan was a champion on the short-lived CHallengers game show(a Q&A game a bit like the early 70s game show Who What or Where Game, that was placed in evening access to try to compete with Jeopardy and Wheel, but it died a quick death) in November 1990, winning $112K, including winning the Tournament of Champions they had,.
wow!
Nice meeing tou today my dear. I got the Sunday 12/22 NYT crossword, published 10 minutes ago online, in 6:18. Puzzle was Go With the Flow, a themeless puzzle with long entries in the bottom and top rows.
wow! I'll try it (I don't have a subscription, so let me see if I can access it). It was certainly a pleasure having you on the show - hope you come back again!
I couldn't access NYT, so I did Stan Newman's Sunday Crossword (I know, not the same level!). It took me about 20 minutes to fill most of it in and another 10 minutes to go back and figure out the words I was stumped on. So now you now my good, but not pro, skill level :)
@@themaven2017 The Newsday crosswords on Saturdays when I did them were a little harder than NYT usually were on Saturdays.
