I used cloud, tifa and red, no sleep, just stagger skills and it was fine

Do it on dynamic, use cloud magic sword and equip mp and hp regain when you stagger with petrify. Have another team use sygnify with petrify. You will always stagger and gain everything back. Don’t worry about getting hit when you’re casting. Save and reload in gongogga.

What's frustrating about this is that the challenge is, "fight against the game's systems." Your party members will do everything in their power to actively work against you in these annoyingly specific combat challenges.

One tip I might add that I’ve found really helps with Yuffie, use her Doppelgänger ability. It basically doubles her damage. You do need to keep an eye on it, and refresh it occasionally, but it helps.

After you try it, you will like it. Playing my ps4 and ps5 library everywhere with remote play.

Nice. I think I would prefer a handheld PS device that runs digital versions of the PS store content. Even if running them kept them at 1080p/60fps limited, but that would allow for lighter hardware and be less restricted by internet connections for non-live service games. Call it the Pocket PS5, or just the PP, heh.

If you’re debating on getting this I recommend it. I get to play all of my single player games on my couch upstairs. However internet speed is CRUCIAL and also having your PS5 hardwired

A bit late to the party, but I have a replacement for the sea horses. Either the sahagins in cosmo canyon fiend Intel 1, for 27 AP, or the pyretails in nibelheim fiend Intel 1, for 27 AP. Perks of the sahagin warriors is that when you "retry" you spawn right next to them. As for the pyretails, sometimes they spawn nibel wolves so you occasionally get 45 or more AP per go.

Finally did it guys. Some lucky needed here too. Those 2 minions keep interfering and the companions almost never focus on Mindflyer only. I decided to use only Cloud and Tifa with this strategy

Backbones are a lot cheaper and a lot better.

Honestly found this much harder than the entirety of hardmode, the legendary bouts and the like. Tried all sorts of strategies and nothin'

The ap gain isnt adding up on my end. I think things have been nerfed

Finally got this after more tries than I care to acknowledge. I’m sure there are many strategies to get it but Sleep+Magnify and First Strike works well.

Thank you. I tried every method, including this one, but could not pass it without someone taking out a satellite. I came back to this strategy and passed it with Cloud (elemental-lightning armor), Tifa, and Yuffie. Luckily, my team did not attack a satellite and I had to mindful of their countdown…which was passed one when I finished off the Mindblast.

Color me "surprised"...Sony pulled a scummy page out of their old playbook by deliberately neglecting to optimize universal Bluetooth audio for this waste of resources so people can throw their money away on their expensive proprietary Pulse and Inzone earbuds. This thing's lack of that capability reminds me of the crap people used to settle for when the Switch lacked the same Bluetooth audio capability...until they finally released an update for it, which, to say the least, still managed to be underwhelming and not worth the wait. The fact that both devices have Bluetooth tech embedded in them, just for the company to half-ass with their Bluetooth options, is pathetic enough. If the user has to band-aid such a lazy omission of a feature on any device, that device needs to go back to the drawing board, which, in the Portal's case, is a redundant reality.

Honestly, if you're like me and have gotten to the point where you are just a few trophies away from Platinum, this guide is pretty much all you need to follow. I've maxed out everything else except Hard Mode Chapter Select and the Brutal/Legendary challenges. Using your strats for HM Chapters will be my go to and I'll check out OptiNoob's content as well. Honestly, just getting to this point has been a fucking MISSION - with some of the mini-games and post game challenges making me rage quit and coming back later... looking at you Sephiroth 3D and the Cactuar HM challenges. I'm currently at 340 hours and counting lol... but only a few more to go now!

I appreciate the reminder that Cloud can do tons of damage with that cool saber I believe I can get his attack up to around 450 without equipping strength up or any abilities with them I can get it to 500 Well ok 404 before setting abilities. I do kind of wish Auto attacks did more but I guess I like the abilities but sometimes I just want to run around and slash up some bad guys I wish my auto attack was at a thousand, but alas, that'll be part 3

I was training in unending nightmare so I spent 3 hours leveling materia on just 3 party members with the queen bee. I prefer something where I can keep my data. I have 180 hours and I forgot how data works lol Muscle head seems good for me but bee did wreck low level materia and almost fully got my blues up. round one of the unending nightmare fire ninjutsu and Quakera and or fira paired magnify, the queen bee is a tank and can take like 30 splash hits!

Going to lower to easy and retry - great tip. 2 other noteworthy mentions is the timing of the input early/late can cause a block instead of dodge. There are 3 set combos, I found that the pause method was rough when it came to timing those. Also, failing to perfect dodge interrupts the combo and the game goes back to normal
