Is Unreal Engine Hard to Learn?! | Learning as a Beginner (Part 3) - @badxstudio
The third part of my Unreal Engine Learning Series! I am still following the tutorial from @badxstudio on recreating a scene from Star Wars. In this part, I am still covering part of the tutorial focused on Materials, Textures, and Material Instances.
Since the last video was posted, and during the week I recorded this video @UnrealEngine released a Game Design Professional Certificate in partnership with @coursera which I have already started and will keep you updated on the progress there as well as it takes about 3 months to complete and would be interesting to see what I end up learning at the end.

    Wish you'd give credit to the USA for Hubble. You make NO mention of USA anywhere. US taxpayers paid (and still do) for the American space program. Hubble was an American, the other lady, too. America developed the technology and, unlike other countries in the world, America unselfishly shared it with the world.

    • @MilanMraovic
      @MilanMraovic 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Usually if they don't reply even after you followed up means that you got ghosted it's a common occurrence in recruitment. Due to a large number of candidates and interview people forget to get back to everyone. I would not get my hopes if they didn't get back to you a month after the interview.

    Hey, I had a doubt: What is the difference between sourcers and recruiters? Do sourcers only do recruitment or are they considered to be a part of talent acquisition teams? Please help me understand the differences. I am working on a research paper and your input will be valuable!

    • @MilanMraovic
      @MilanMraovic 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sourcer is a part of the Talent Acquisition team, they are usually the ones finding qualified candidates via tools such as LinkedIn, reaching out to the candidates, and developing sourcing strategy in collaboration with the rest of the team, that is where there responsibility usually stops and Talent Acquisition Specialists take over to do the actual interview.

    Hello what is the cost of this course? And, what is the minum required to pass? Is it relatively easy?

    • @MilanMraovic
      @MilanMraovic 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not sure what the actual cost was, but it was a monthly subscription I think of around $50. If you have the time you can finish it in a month. There are certain quiz's and peer review's that you need to pass to complete the certification. It's not that easy, you will have to take a lot of notes, and understand certain concepts.

    • @MilanMraovic
      @MilanMraovic 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question, it really depends on how far you are in your Sales career and how much back you want to go. In order to get a good understanding of what Talent Acquisition is especially in Tech you would need to start at the lowest level which is usually a Talent Sourcer (in a bigger company/corporation) or a Junior Recruiter (in a smaller company/start up). Hope this helps!

    This is purely a personal assessment, which I do not agree with. In my experience, there are dozens of examples of Recruiter positions being filled proactively, and TA positions being filled due to an immediate need. The positions are interchangeable depending on the needs of the company. Your initial instinct was quite correct, it's just a fancier name. Bringing the point back to that, you summerized it perfectly in one of your final sentences: "To me, it feels more personal". Yeah, a fancier title does exactly that.

So as A talent Acquisitor, you approach potential candidates via Linkedin or different platforms and chat with them to see if they are interested in working for your company? • @MilanMraovic

      Day to day job is the same as for the non-technical specialist, mostly sourcing, scheduling, screening, etc. The only difference is that you need to know the technical side job, to understand the basics of each tech stack. Salary I can't really say any numbers since it's very different from country to country and company to company. Probably the best source would be Glassdoor based on the location and the industry that you want to go into.

      Great question, I really don't know if it would have any influence for a degree application. For a job application I can say for sure yes, for degree I don't know. 😊

    Lepo mi je videti Mraoviće kako su uspešni u svetu. Ja polako ulazim u ovaj svet pohađam kurs za automatsko testiranje softvera. Pozdrav i svako dobro Milane!
