    The Brushless self propelled is not working. It's been great but just stopped. I tightened the screws that hold the handle to the housing.

    So you didn't need to match the voltage values on the cells before swapping the board over?

    • @annelisabethcom
      @annelisabethcom 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      With the original board swapped over, that should be unecessary.

    • @annelisabethcom
      @annelisabethcom 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      However, there's another video where the guy had to match the voltage even with swapping the board over.

    • @drfrisker

      @annelisabethcom so I ended up just touching the batteries together for like 30 seconds while it was still connected, and then before I soldered the new one in completely. Seems to work fine, have a battery life over 20 hours now. It's a bummer the cables take a beating and don't last long either, but considering the low battery life of new wireless earbuds, I'll take the tradeoff.

    After taking the belt off, loosen the bottom bolt, take out the top bolt completely, pull the alternator fwd. You'll be able to remove the cable, plus you'll have better access to the bottom bolt. When putting the alternator in, go in reverse. With the alternator fwd on the bracket, you can easily re-insert the bottom bolt, tighten to the point where it almost tight, but you can still push the alternator up on the bracket. Put cables back in, push fwd and bolt the top, then tighten the bottom.

    Excellent review. I am a professional pest man and you addressed all the questions I had. I saw another review and it barely put any spray out. I wondered if he had the fill cap on tight and you answered that. Also, knowing any water-based solution will work is valuable info. I was guessing so anyway, but it was good to hear it directly. I mix Bifenthrin concentrate with water to use. The use of a squirt of some Dawn soap will help it stay on waxy leaves instead of rolling off. Old pest control trick. Off-the-shelf surfactant instead of a pricey version from a supply house. I use a much bigger mister for my mosquito jobs, but this may be more practical for the majority of my jobs. Much easier on the back. They're @ $40 now on Amazon. I'll be ordering one. Even if I end up only using it on my own property, it'll be worth it. As for battery life, it pays to buy a 4 amp-hour battery. I use several Ryobi products and the 1.5 and 2 amp-hour batteries are minimal use - small jobs only. Always have a charged up spare ready to go and put the spent one on charge immediately if you have a lot of work to do. BTW, strong wind always affects sprays outside. Do it another day no matter what type of mister you have. I have to be careful not to get the neighbor when I do anything like that. Even with the yard spray rig and treating trees is a no-no in high wind.

    I have a lot of Dewalt tools, so it only makes sense that I would choose a Dewalt for my hedge trimmer. I'm concerned about the weight of the tool. Only two of the trees in my front yard need to be trimmed each year. It gets harder and harder to complete this annual duty with my 2'-reach trimmer on an extension ladder resting against the tree every year. I'm thinking of getting this trimmer, however it could still seem a little heavy. I appreciate you sharing this review.

    • @stevenhoang4336
      @stevenhoang4336 ปีที่แล้ว

      Happy to help. Sounds like there quite of bit trimming annually for you. If you need to trim for more than 10-15 minutes then i think this will not work for you unless you are a body builder with big guns. If you dont mind using gas powered hedge trimmer, it would be a great choice since the main weight is at the engine right at your hand. I used one before i liked it. Let it go since i moved to battery powered for everything.

    Thanks for the video. Almost gave up trying to get the alternator out till I saw your screw driver prying on the bottom method. I squirted a little bit of WD-40 on each side of the bolt hole and moved the alternator back and forth several times to work the WD-40 into friction area. It then came right out by prying with the screwdriver and moving alternator back and forth.

    On a 6 cylinder 3.5 you have to do a lot of different stuff. You have to take the bracket off that holds the cable that runs to the alternator hook up. There's some weird hook up that runs through this cable patch that hooks up to the engine under the alternator, but the cable is connected to the back of the alternator. You have to take that off. Then you have to make sure you take both of those cowlings off, those black covers that cover the radiator and the side where the radiator fluid is and the window cleaner fluid. Then the little bottle that holds the radiator fluid, you have to take it off and take the bracket off that holds it in place. Then you can orient the alternator so you can slide it out of there. And remember exactly how you slid it out because that's the same position you have to use to put it back in there. Remember to start from the bottom when reinstalling the serpentine belt. If you are replacing the alternator I would go ahead and replace the belt.

    Nice Video. Do you think this will work in an attic of a house? The professional foggers are way too expensive and the manual spray pumps take too much effort. just want to lightly spray/fog my attic.

    • @stevenhoang4336
      @stevenhoang4336 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. I personally don’t see why you can’t do it in your attic. It might get a bit dusty up there as it blows. Given the fact that it’s kinda close off in your attic, I would strongly recommend to wear respiratory mask so that you don’t breath in that chemical and dust as you spray.

    The thicker the grass or the lower you want to cut the grass, impacts the battery charge. The more the blade has to work, the less battery charge will hold. If you have thin bladed grass or keep the height of the grass 3" or so and mow often, this mower will work for you. Because my grass is very thick, I often had to recharge the battery to complete the cut. So, I'm going back to a gas mower. But, this mower is good for the light weight and environmental concerns; just not for me and my lawn.

    Thank you for your video! I have a 2010 Acura TSX and had to change my alternator today as preventative maintenance. AAA said it needs to be replaced though I wasn't certain since it seemed to be still good after some testing. Since I had 150k miles on my car, I decided to swap it out. I ran into the same problems as you. It took me more than 45 minutes to pry the alternator out after removing the two bolts holding it to the engine. But after watching you video, I was able to find the location to pry. After being able to pry it out after probably 2 hours, everything else went smoothly. Thank you again! Your video saved me and many others I am certain!

    Hi! I have my rain sensor sensors (24VAC and S) from hunter, i not sure how to install those wires on rachio 3. Could i check with you?

    • @stevenhoang4336
      @stevenhoang4336 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can try as this controller can connect up to 2 sensors using S1 and S2 ports. Also the controller has 24V port for you to use as well. So i would assume you can hook up the 24v from your rain sensor to these terminals and the last wire to either S1 or S2 then configure it in your Rachio app. More info is available at rachio.com/sensors. Let me know if it helps

      If there are no lights when the battery is plugged in for a charge, then it has a full charge. There is a button next to the lights,, press it to confirm how charged the battery is.
