Everyone riding hgss but the level curve in those games were absolutely garbage. The game was far too easy during the Main story then in post game had no real options to level up except spam fighting the same gym leader over and over again. Having your mons be level 50 and beating the e4 then have no option to level up to fight red with his high level mons. Don’t get me wrong I loved the game but it’s nowhere near black or black 2

Since you beat this one you could do the black 2 challenge more, it gives all the gym leaders an extra Pokemon and more berries, makes the elite 4 and champ wayyy harder

I actually liked you showing a run that didn't go your way. I lose nuzlockes all the time myself. And that's fine. This is not an easy run and you could have just as easily lost someone to a critical hit anywhere else in the run. Or Aerodactyl couldve easily gotten omni boost ancient power. Things happen. This was entertaining! Don't feel bad about it! Also good on you telling people to register to vote! That's important for people to do. It's a right we should use! Subscribed.

Hey man as long as you are having fun then that’s what’s most important. I did this run myself in Heartgold a while ago. I chose Totodile not just because of Ice Fang but also because it can learn Dragon Claw from one of the Lottery TM prizes in the Goldenrod Department Store. This really helped out against Clair’s Kingdra later in the run. I also grabbed the 3 encounters from Primo in Violet City along with the Togepi Egg though he didn’t become a major part of the team until I could get the Shiny Stone. Ampharos was a major part of my team, as was Magcargo in the Lance fight in the Pokemon League. Quagsire had a dual role of Ground Type Offense and Water HM ‘Mon. Having both him and Feraligtr on the same team didn’t conflict much at all. Speaking of Goldenrod I did not restrict myself from the Prize Encounters from the Game Corner as you did, though this just ended up being wasted time because other than the TM’s the Pokemon I got (Ekans and Abra) didn’t end up really doing anything for the squad. Fearow however was a mainstay on the team until later in the run when he was just outrun by Togekiss. I got pretty lucky when I went back to Goldenrod to get the Eevee from Bill because it was a Female Eevee. As Eevee’s Gender Ratio is 7/8 Male and 1/8 Female this was pretty rare. What this allowed me to do was go right to the south of Goldenrod to the Daycare and place my Eevee along with my Starter and I had 4 more Eevee’s just from some running around. Unfortunately the Sinnoh Eeveelutions aren’t available in HGSS but I was able, with some mini-gaming in the Pokeathelon, to get all 5 of the available Eeveelutions of which my Espeon was a huge help to the team and the reason why my Abra stayed on the bench lol. Shuckle of course did nothing lol. The Tyrogue you get, who I also evolved into Hitmonchan, was a big help in the late game as well. My Main 6 for most of the run was- Feraligtr, Ampharos, Fearow, Quagsire, and Espeon with the 6th slot being whoever I needed at the time My Late Game replacements were Togekiss for Fearow and Hitmonchan in the 6th slot. I had 1 Special Pokemon whose job it was to take out 2 Charizard’s. Lance’s and Red’s. That Pokemon was Magcargo. It is the perfect counter to both of those Pokemon who can pose a problem if you don’t have a counter. In those fights Magcargo replaced Quagsire. The final fight against Red I figured if he was going to spam perfectly accurate Blizzard’s in the Hail then I could at least use the full level cap of 84 against him. I won the run Deathless with a Final Team of- Feraligtr, Ampharos, Togekiss, Espeon, Hitmonchan, and Magcargo. It was one of the most fun Nuzlockes I’ve ever done. Glad you had fun doing one of your own!…

I wouldn't worry about the mistakes of the run, my dude. You did the best you could, and you can always do this run again later down the line. There's always a next time, and I'm sure you'll be able to complete the run when you come back to it at a later date

How are you going to put bdsp in D tier and the original DP in A Tier when bdsp is the exact same as DP but much better with quality of life features such as the ability to actually view a Pokémon’s ivs, HM issue being fixed, a shadow giratina super boss in Ramanas park, the inclusion of Ramanas park full of the old legendaries which are shiny huntable and making a lot of Pokémon accessible via the grand underground, I haven’t even gotten into the fact that elite four is actually difficult this time, arguably far more difficult then platinum and original DP especially the elite four rematches and the Gym leader rematches were also very difficult considering the gym leaders are actually using strong bred/max Iv Pokémon with updated movesets and held items and smarter Ai. I haven’t even gotten into the fact that the ability to actually view a Pokémon’s IV’s is really important because it’s not only going to help you breed for higher IV Pokémon to tackle the post game but to also tackle the battle tower, and to my knowledge the battle tower updated the moveset of the trainers Pokémon to be more modernized. So I would argue if difficulty is something you love out of Pokémon then you are arguably getting that out of bdsp towards the late game and the post game. So bdsp’s post game is already better then SV’s Post game considering that SV lacks a battle facility and base SV sucks content wise with the only redeeming factor being the dlc, SV’s gym leader rematches weren’t good either or max ivs with competitive movesets. Base Swsh’s post game Is arguably worse then Bdsp’s post game and worse overall content wise. Heck bdsp is better then LGPE simply because the post game is much much harder and the gym leader rematches are actually difficult including the elite four rematches and the battle tower where the enemy Ai can cheese the player by consistently landing OP moves that normally have a low chance of landing but have a high chance of landing in the battle tower since enemy AI is busted.

Seismitoad coming in clutch is the best! Also if you would like to repeat this run for some reason, Simipour is actually one of the best water types from this gen, so I recommend playing with that a little longer 😊
