The reason for the wobbly graphics when you get closer are because of the ps1’s absence of a Z buffer. It kinda just means that the X and Y vertices have to kind of simulate a Z axis

I am too goddamn old. Minecraft came out when i was around 21-23. It was crazy to see that first time. Going into a cave for the first time and being paralyzed with fear for like ten minutes because i heard a zombie somewhere in the dark… it was like some core memory stuff. What a game
