Track announcer: Sam McKee
Great horse, wonderful gate, a credit to his breed, people that compare horses, from different generations, you trying to massage your EGO, dan patch, greyhound, adios, meadow skipper, albatross, niatross, cam fella, staying together, somebeachsomewhere, bulldog hanover, and many more I missed, enjoy their racing, dont compare, who cares.
Concentrate on being 3rd Lol
Bret was great. Niatross greater. He would admit it himself.
Came in to HAZEL Park and Floyd Fords horse beat him easy!
This was far from the first time Mr. Filion was mic'ed up!
JACK E LEE ANNOUNCER HE ALSO ANNOUNCED FOR THE WWWF IN THE 70S
the great racce caller JACK E LEE ON THE MICROPHONE
Track announcer: Jack E Lee
Thank you for posting. Very cool to see.
Exciting! Gave me chills. Thank you for posting. I'm always searching for footage of the great match race between Quarter Horse Barbara B., and sprinting TB Fair Truckle. It was in 1947, at Hollywood Park, Inglewood, CA. Barbara B. trounced him. Must be a home movie, or something out there.
The great Jack E. Lee calling the action.
Brilliant
Buddy was a good guy never forgot where he came from. Would give grooms money when they were down. R.I.P.
Very horrible audio,Bush league! Cat had an attitude, would throw the lines at you if your horse didn't race well!
Track announcer: Jack E Lee
rest in peace my friend
Track announcer: Jack E Lee
This song is awesome lmfao
I was there that year and remember Ambro Regina the most.Only philly there.
Sounds like Stan Bergstein calling the race.
Very informative about harness racing by Stan
Sam was over rated Nobody will ever call races like Jack E lee
Very disappointing finish for the Doc. Later on he would beat some of these horses on a regular basis.
I think Mike LaChance knew he would just hurt Doc by chasing after cam fella in a big way. He drove my horse like a horseman.
Hardly Docs greatest race. His second place finish against OTRA last race in the slop was his no pun intended his gutsiest
Where was Roosevelt raceway.old timer here can't remember.love seeing these old tapes of great to horse races.
One of the greatest ever
Doc and I won again.
Best hands in racing
Looking back on these beautiful racehorses which I was so lucky to see in person at the Big M but I also saw many races at Yonkers (which was the only track where my horse raced near my home in Northern New Jersey) oh and she finished 6th in a steady rain ! Saw so many great race horses at the Big M ! So many wonderful people and horses did I meet along this journey !!
"There goes the Beach!"
I love you Dad and miss the times we enjoyed together. I remember being in the booth with you on this night and letting you know that this was the best call ever.....
Your Dad was a true master and a stand up gentleman. I got to know him while working at freehold in the late 80's and 90's. No one will ever call a race as well as he did. He is missed.
My father Bill Stirton raced with Peter and his father in the Maple Leaf Trot in 1979 at Greenwood in Toronto. At the after party I was introduced to Peter. I remember the day my father told me of his passing. All these years later I remember well the sound of his voice and the expression on his face that day when he told me of Peter's tragic accident 🇨🇦♥️🇺🇸
MERCI, POUR CET HOMMAGE, À UNE DE MAI, FROM FRANCE, RESPECT
Delvin Miller is speaking in the video.
Wow big crowds.in 1983.now u get 50 people at Yonkers.
THE PACING MACHINE!
Dancer was not a great driver ! He just had great horses !! Too much brag, no class !!! Billy Houghton had class !!! HERVE WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST !!!
Whose the one with no class??
My favorite harness horse ever, Rambling Willie.Willie will always be the greatest harness horse of all time. Loved watching him race at his home base race track Sportsman's Park, Cicero, Illinois. I live close to Bob and Vivian Farrington when they lived in Darien Illinois.
Incredible! didn't know this film existed - thank you!!!!
Just past the quarter pole Walter Case pulls out of three hole Buddy looks over his shoulder Walter takes back. The rest is history!
Miller Scout was one of Buddy Gilmours favorite horses.
