Producers/writers who are giving us nothing but movies with a nice, smooth ending where the "moral" and the "law" always prevail will never have the guts to make a movie which takes a stand. We are tired of dumb movies where the guy 10 steps ahead of everyone loses at the end because he's somehow outsmarted by that "good and honest" citizen. We are tired of the vengeful guy who already killed 10 bad guys being talked into giving up the murder of the last bad guy (often the worst) because he will "ruin his life" and "go to prison" (dude already killed 10 people, will killing 11 make a difference ?) We are tired of people who prepared their revenge for months, sometimes years (just to show how determined they are) simply stopping everything at the last second because someone told them it's not very nice to hurt other people. We want to see bad guys die, we want to see corrupted systems destroyed. Is it this hard to understand or is censorship really that powerful ?

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) told the Daily Dot that people have contacted them asking about missing ducks or geese, but didn’t have more information to share. “Our officers work on tips and observations, they then make contact. Those contacts don’t always find criminal activity, so no summons or charges are filed,” a spokesperson for ODNR explained. They also said on Thursday that a viral image of a man walking around with a goose in his hand had been reported to ODNR on July 28 on the 1-800-POACHER hotline. “ODNR Division of Wildlife investigated the call and determined the photograph was taken on Cleveland Avenue in Columbus,” the office said. “This case is still under investigation.”

I would have figured he'd HAVE a contingency AND supporters to help him accomplish his revenge AND at the end, cover it up in hopes the skeezy leaders would get a cold and calculated plan set for YEARS to plan... ONLY FOR THEN for the end, the ONLY time he goes by himself.... personally, instead of what he done before.

God I hated how SUDDENLY THEY HAD to BE FORCED to figure out the most detail plan, in the MOST convenient way, especially when the PREMISE was "he can kill you and never be in the room"

I honestly don’t think Clyde would have left prison. He knows what he did and takes responsibility for it. Still it being necessary, I feel like him leaving prison is a cop out and he wouldn’t want that.

This alternate ending brings a sense of absolution that the original sorely lacks. Very satisfying, thank you!

annoying fact :Jamie Foxx threatend if they didn't change the ending he won't continue filming so they had to change it to portray Hamie as the good guy

Yeah they royally messed up the ending. In the middle of the movie they make it a point of saying "Clyde is a thinker. If he wants you dead, you will die." No way a snot nosed butt muncher of a DA outsmarts him at the last minute.

This absolutely should have been the ending. Jamie Foxx having a moment where he decided to have the ending change just because you wanted to be portrayed certain way in Hollywood's eyes just blows me away. This movie should be re-released and it absolutely should have this as the ending. I would honestly pay for it.

Clide should have won system is corrupted

If Clyde was the genius that he’s portrayed to be, he would have anticipated that his opponents might have discovered his plans. And if found out, there would have been contingencies in place to counter their moves. Seriously lousy ending!!!

The ending is from a different movie

Another case of an upright bipedal ape ruining a good thing, basketball americans have to go.

Jaime Foxx played the role of a pompous, condescending POS public lawyer to a T! Hated his character, hated the original ending of this movie. So unrealistic to follow the authorities are good guys and will win in the end vein.

This ending is a thousand times better. This is the way the movie should have ended.

The good guy died on this movie

The worst part of the official ending wasn't that they were able to figure out what Clyde was doing and stop the bomb.... it's that Clyde didn't realize that when he saw Jamie Foxx standing in his prison cell! Did he think that Foxx just left the bomb at City Hall on the hopes that he could talk Clyde down? Dumb.

Afterall a good ending

Ending was bad as everyone has said... Gerard Butler's character should have either gotten away with it... Or should have forced the 'good guys' to break the law in order to stop him hence proving his point and still winning... The ending removed Jamie Foxx from the moral dilemma of upholding the law and letting people die or breaking the law in order to stop/kill Gerard Butler's character... Either way, Butler's character achieved his objective.

If this story were a real one, Clyde would have definitely completed his mission successfully. No way a prosecutor would have outsmarted a highly trained tactician. Remember he killed that one guy by inventing a kevlar thread with a hightech ratchet made of carbon fibre and inserted it into bro's tie! Lol.. No way kinetic operations recon mercenary fumbles the ball at the end.

Notice how everyone knows that Foxx ruined this ending by demanding that the black man beats the white man ?

I loved this movie and hated the ending. I’m so happy this alternate ending exists. How can a man whose family was slaughtered become the villain.? If I had the same cards dealt to me, I could see me going after the people who took my family from me and I’m a law abiding citizen too.

Ending ruined the movie. Jamie Fox character was arrogant and wrong to care so much about his conviction rate, then got to outsmart someone who was so far ahead of him the entire movie. Very bad ending.

In reality he would not have been caught he was that intelligent didn't like the end of the movie like a lot of people didn't like the end of the movie because he was that smart. And it turns out the Caribbean puffer fish you don't have to inject it into people the original Haitian Voodoo powder to make zombies requires more than just the Caribbean puffer fish the female is more potent and you have to use for intestines and her female parts plus the skin is sun-dried the toxin goes right through the skin Andy mobilizes you it lowers your heart rate so much that they can't tell you're alive that's how they made the zombies in Haiti takes more than that there's a few more ingredients they were kept top secret a long time ago I know that for a fact. You can also coat your hand and just fist bump somebody or Shake somebody's hand they will be a mobilized and you will not be able to wash down the drain put your hand looks normal the toxin is absorbed right through the skin or the feet or anywhere else. In case nobody knows that you can dust the air with it in traffic in entire security team and they will not be able to use their guns. I know this for a fact for good reason it came directly from an old Haitian Voodoo master you used to actually make zombies it's because it lowers your breathing then they bury you and break you out then you're going to be all messed up if you're not buried and they break you out you're not liking oxygen. I believe it's a great weapon for doing an entire Village during wartime because you can't use any of your weapons you will not be moving if you powder all the air above them it's cheap efficient and it works exactly like that in the movie they said you had to inject somebody that's not how it really works I believe it's a great weapon to do an area from the air you can't touch anything it goes through the skin on your face your feet anywhere you can't fire artillery or use a machine gun or throw a grenade you can't even move you barely breathe that's how low your heart rate goes because that's why they used to think people were dead in Haiti I know this for a fact thank you old Haitian Voodoo master on how to make zombies

Just to get around copy write strikes, you've messed up the picture and made the sound of this film feel like it's from the inside of a tin can down a long hallway. Doesn't matter how well you "altered" the ending, this video is trash as fuck.

How about Clyde is on a sailboat, anchored at a beautiful atoll, he comes out of the water with a mahi-mahi on a spear gun and his girl friend turns, and it is Nicks wife!

He didn't die in the other ending either as part 2 coming out you didn't see him die and they didn't check the floor? and the look he gives to the camera at the end to say come on really 😊

What a show ❤

Realizing after all these years, that's Gene Hackman.i feel so stupid. Luckily not as stupid as not having better scenes between Foxx Hackman and Butler. Only scenes of Butlers/Foxx were at the start in holding. Its gem of a movie with some great stuff. An true re watching everytime

This is the one thing that so pissed me off about the ending. He is supposed to be one of the smartest think tank brains, but he wouldn't have any kind of failsafe or trips. nothing when it came to his cell, the bomb especially, or his little den. Give me a break. Would have been a great movie if the ending wasn't so lame.
