As a full time ebay seller - I can tell you regardless if the seller doesn't accept returns, you're still able to return the item in this specific scenario. This would be item as not described. Im interested to know how this panned out.

Bro bought a raw card from probstein and thought it would gem 😂. Only reason people co-sign raw with them is to get rid of upgradable stuff .

No biggie, if you have ever sold on eBay and had an idiot decide they wanted to return something even though there’s no returns, no matter what if you file right you will win and get to return it. An example is a sealed hobby box I sold, the cardboard where it would flip up when opened to display had been pushed down at some point and wasn’t perfectly together, still topps sealed no dents or damage etc. The buyer claimed it wasn’t the correct item as listed. The pictures showed it that way, it was the same box, correct description and year, Brand etc. I said no to return, they never said anything ever again after filing the return, and over a month later, (6 weeks), eBay decided they could return it. I’ll post picture of similar box, for my example. If you figure out something stupid enough to complain about, eBay will let you return it! If you said corner was bent, you get to return it, nm-mint is condition listed. It’s not getting an 8 with bent corner. FYI Well can’t post pics but you get what I’m talking about if you ever opened a long flat hobby box, like 2020 bowman 1st edition draft. Etc

How come everyone is allowed to smooth out or obviously mess with pictures of cards to try and hide the flaws.

The money back guarantee makes it better for buyers on the platform. I have returned cards that have damage and it was never described in the description. Although it says no returns allowed, if there is damage you can return it for your money back. Don’t accept the damaged cards. Immediately request a refund speak with EBay if you have too. I have always received my money back for any damaged cards that I receive even if they say no returns allowed.

If the kid and his dad are smart....he never attends a card show for a long time. Every dealer will be on the lookout for him. He will be automatically be removed by security if he attends a card show ever again.

That’s why when you’re vending it’s always good to have at least two people vending with you at your table, that’s why I always have two people at my table, as a vendor myself we need to keep our eyes open for thieves, the lengths thieves are willing to go to is incredible.

I don't think this is a common way to buy and sell sports cards, it's not very often that someone is willing to sell an /10 downtown for that cheap. I would have kept the title to "You won't believe how I made $400 flipping this sports card" that way the video doesn't have a rhetoric that this is an everyday money making method. Great story, but not an everyday money making method.

Prob is too big to give you individual grades and flaws on cards.

It’s doesn’t matter if they don’t accept returns but eBay will force them to accept. Just enter a return send pics of the damage and they will refund.

Never had an issue buying cards from eBay-I only buy graded slabs. I will not buy raw cards.

I've heard that even if a seller says they do not accept refunds, you can call up ebay and press them and get a return. I offer free returns for this reason.

No matter if the listing says no returns or refund you are still a saved by the eBay buyer guarantee policy. You have 3 days from delivery of the item to request a refund. You need to take a picture of the issue and file a claim. If the seller did not disclose an issue put that in the message. I have always received a refund from seller if there is an issue like that. Hope this helps.
