🙏🙏🙏 To the Three Greatest Maestros and Legends of Karnataka Sangitam. To experience their class and mastery, this rare recording cannot be missed. Neither Lalgudi Mama or Mani Iyer Mama exhibited any kind of unnecessary mannerisms on the stage of concerts. But, MDR Mama developed both mannerisms and idiosyncrasies on the stage of concerts. This recording is one of the rare because it is without those two.

The beauty is MDR was not a man to show thalam always, as he is more focussed on the manodharma aspects and the accompanists may not require it. Still, layam is kept intact...Wonders of these legends.
