Always surprised when a major manufacturer puts out marketing like this. It seems unrehearsed and possibly shot on an iPhone. Write a script, edit it. Spend a few K and hire some professionals.

Keep in mind that this is from someone dedicated to center consoles and has virtually no use for non-fishing-centric vessels. Recently took a trip on a nearly-new (94 engine hours) 400SSC from West Palm Beach, FL to Bimini, Bahamas. Most notable was how nice of a ride it was. That was immediately apparent when cutting through wakes on the Intercoastal; even with SeaKeeper off, whether head-on attack or broadside, it sliced right through & was barely noticable. Seas were only around 2'-3'; we ran 45-50 mph most of the way with the throttles only around 3/4s & plenty of unused HP. So far, 71 mph is the recorded peak speed. (Owner opted for the Merc Racing series...since they came with the red stripes; an option that was cheaper than adding red stripes to the standard Mercurys. Options are quite expensive. Seriously, $3k for a slide-out drawer w/ 35qt Yeti??) Was beating-free, easy to stand in place most of the run, and only slowed to 15 for bathroom break. Just a hair over .5 miles/gal; increased to .63 in low 40's. Formuna's fit, finish, and overall quality are excellent, truly. No corners cut, missed details/execution, expense spared, and everything well thought out. Of course, there's little they can't customize if you're feeling generous. Clearly this boat was designed and engineered by people with decades of knowledge & experience in the factory and on the water. To date, no issues nor flaws have popped up or needed attention, besides updates on the electronics. Any problems have been user error. The only flaw that stood out to me was fuel capacity; it absolutely needs to hold at least 100-125 more gallons. These are some great boats worrhy of serious consideration if they fit your intended purpose. Definitely not my cup of tea though. I know they offer a model/package that add fishability, but it's just not enough for the dedicated. For center consoles, I'm mostly delighted with my Solace 41CS but, if i were ever in the market to change, this recent trip would force me to take a much closer look at Formula's Center Console 38' & 45' options. (Though, again, fuel capacity appears to be lacking.) Congratulations to Formula, you guys knocked this one out of the park!

Formula has always been a quality manufacturer, appealing to the upper echelon of boat buyers…..but there are also customers that want a trailerable outboard option, in the 21-24 foot class. Lots of multi-million dollar center consoles and day boats in the lineup, but not much else. As a former 37 PC owner, I loved the versatility and functionality of the PC series. Now that I own a lake home, I want that same level of quality in a manageable size, with outboard power. Is anyone at Formula listening?

My boat says it can hold a 7.5hp but I want to put a 9.9 on and when I do put it on it makes the boat flex a bit is that a big deal

I have a question for Formula. If your leaving one of the Florida outlets, and because of very heavy sea you bury the bow in an on coming waves were does the water drain from the bow section.

Our Formula 2002 27Pc is the nicest boat we have ever owened except my 1954 Chriscraft Mahogany hull! Very Sorry to hear of Randy Rinchor,going out of business I restored a 1996 260 Fiesta Vee befor I bought the Formula. Chow, John Boy Utah, Greetings from Bear Lake Utah!

Ridiculous price to go out and catch a 2 person limit a day of Red Snapper, or other species with limits. Add in insurance, fuel, oil, maintenance, slip or storage fees, equals no way would I pay. Had a few boats over the years, but defintely not worth it these days. Give me a Classic 28 Bertram, I'd be a happy camper.

If anyone from Formula reads these comments, I would like to know why the CCF has the good delta plow style anchor on it and then the CCS and the rest of Formula’s boats have that crappy bear claw plow anchor on them? And will the delta style plow anchor fit in the chute on my 310BR cause I want to do away with that bear claw/Bruce style plow anchor?!

It’s a shame how the industry has nearly abandoned the express cruiser market, in favor of these large day boats. Cramped cabins are now the norm.

US$ 1.7million (fully kitted) for a 38ft center console? No thanks.
