I studied according to his program 20 years ago. It was incredible. I canceled the standard exercises and did his program for 2 months. It turned out that I lost 6 kg of weight, and my strength indicators in standard exercises increased by 20%. I was fat-free and very strong. Trapezoids eventually made 200kg 5x8 repetitions.

Hi Coach, I have three questions: (1) The rounding of the spine is something that most coaches gasp about, but in lots of older russian literature and old strong men books, the figures are drawn with rounded spines many times. In John Jesse's Encyclopedia, the same rounded spine is depicted. I'm just wondering if you think that for these light to moderate loads, the rounded spine is acceptable, and for sports like wrestling its actually preferrable since much of the lifting is done in this position (2) You have listed some great complexes, which do you think is preferable for military personnel. My idea from the military is that you simply have to have an extremely high level of GPP since many activities are general in nature in the military (with the added technical skill of combat) (3) do you ever use kettlebells and what would the exercises be to replace the dumbbell versions?

That is OK, if you would do 3 times a week 6 sets of it (like 20 lb, 20 lb, 25 lb, 25 lb, 25 lb, 30 lb, I am sure in a very short time you would perform with 35 and 40 lb dumbbells!! Make your 2017 New year resolution!!

On their website you can watch a great free video explaining the best way to gain visible lean muscle quickly while eliminating fat as well. Devan and hundreds of guys with the same goal experienced positive results applying this approach. It might work for you also...

It would be too long to answer. Usually a daily routine has 7-8 circuit and if a complex exercise is on that day you will perform 7-8 sets of it. My DVD and Book comes with the free 84 pages of this program.

      Absolutely no way it's 400lbs / 180 kg... It's obviously small plates. Btw if these were " regular " plates with the color code this would be 25x8 + 20 = 220kg = 490ish LBS... Also like he says " 30 to 40 % max squat " ...

Dear Mario that is the beauty behind the concept of Complex exercises. Since I developed the First Complex exercise in the world in 1968, I experimented with big group of athletes so many versions with positive feedback and great results. Send me an e-mail address ijavorek@jccc.edu and I will send you a list of my complexes and explain in detail why you could improve a lot doing them. Perform just one set and you will witness great muscle sore.

How can we achieve hypertrophy with so many reps? Shouldn't it be that we need to lif 6-12 reps with the load as heavy as we can take to perform it corectly? While doing this pushups and all the other exerc. performed on the video we do 6 reps but it is not our maximum.

Doing just 6 reps but in a continuous flawless order for 13 exercises are a total of 78 reps and I can achieve muscular hypertrophy. With 15 reps per exercises you would perform 195 reps, so you would perform with very light weight and achieve muscular endurance if any benefit.
