I disagree with Dave Ramsey. Save money for home repairs--at least 1K.Then, use the VA Home Loan to buy a home. Get a roommate or two, the rent payments will help to cover the mortgage.

What do they think, the veterans going to do if they mess with 100% S C veterans.

I've used VA healthcare, exclusively, for about the last 3 years and I have no complaints. However, I have definitely wondered if they were gonna use anything I've ever said at these appointments against me one day. For instance, they LOVE to ask if I am in any pain today and, if so, how would you rate it on a scale from one to ten. Doesn't matter if you go there to get a prescription refilled or something innocuous, they're gonna ask you this. I'm sure they do this because some veteran back in the day complained that they never asked him how he's feeling and now they go overboard with asking this as some sort of CYA thing, but I find the entire thing annoying. I don't want to get into everything that ails me when I'm there for a hang nail and I don't want to tell them "I'm fine" out of some fear (however misplaced) that they will look at my records one day and say, "Well, you've been telling us you're fine for X amount of years, we're gonna reduce your rating." P.S. Your little youtube videos are definitely not stupid. You put out some good info in this one that gets straight to the point......now some of the titles you put on these videos. That's entirely different matter lol

Question for folks. I got some of my disability done last year and it put me at 90% i then went and registered for VA healthcare but never used it. Today out of the blue nearly a year later I get a phone call saying they assigned me a primary doctor and to get bloodwork done and see this doctor for about an hour. Has anyone had this where you didn't request anything from the VA but still got a phone call? I tend to use my primary healthcare atm for my issues.

Mississippi offers $1 tags for 70%. Specialty tags $51. My wife got a brand new Vic. Only cost $61. For a specialty tags, after you include taxes. That’s not for up to 2 Vic’s.

he is an arrogant as*. wouldn't have been able to buy my first home without a VA loan. Nice thing is that when you sell your place you can use your loan again. I will admit I never used VA again, but it was a lifesaver for my first place

The VA is not a "healthcare system" It is a research institution that has done HORRIBLE things to people. Like the physicians back in World War 2, the VA could care less about veterans health, safety or anything else. The VA only cares about it's research data collection and it violates the law, ethics, international standards, human rights, doctors violate their fiduciary duties to their patients in the name of their research about it. The government wants veterans to die as soon as possible so they cost less! The VA, and Social Security, both use the process of obtaining benefits to instill frustration, guild, shame, embarrassment and other psychological harming (intentional affliction of emotional distress) to chase people away and to drive them to their graves by giving up and killing themselves. I have lived through it, experienced it and have survived it up to this point! Kids, stay as far away from the recruiting office as you can! The military will kill you and if you get hurt the VA will do it. If you get hurt and choose not to collect your benefits, well than there is nothing in it for you! So just don't do it. I love America so much I served it, and all America and the VA showed me was the backside of themselves, destroyed my career as an airline pilot, and still tries to dehumanize every chance it gets through the system. I hold a JD, MA and BA in criminal justice and am a rated airline pilot and flight instructor. I know how hard it has been to navigate this system and realize why this happened to me, I can't believe how hard it is for someone without legal education. The VA is disgusting in practice but not in theory! Give vets Tricare for life and leave us the F alone! The VA's entire goal is to create chaos in your care, in your mind, in your life, destroy your family and make you feel like a failure (the use of military culture as a psychological weapon) to drive you to your grave........Get that through heads, the US Agency at the VA is responsible for the deaths of hundred of thousands of people over the decades to save money why they paid their contractors trillions over the decades. The VA intentionally and willfully engaged in this conduct and was negligent in others. The Executive branch agency has "killed" US Citizens. I wrote a letter to the United Nations Human Rights Counsel reporting this to the UN so the world became aware of the track record of the VA is over the years! America has committed atrocities at the VBA and VHA. I believe, based on what I experienced, the VA has committed the greatest humans rights crimes sense the 2nd World War! The VA will give you PTSD, I think that the point! Destroy what is stronger than themselves and prevent having to pay on the backside of a contract sense the government got what its wanted, you to serve so their kids didn't have to! Kids the MILITARY IS A SCAM! The military and VA will always pull the rug on the backside. It's just a timeline. Once they have the pro they have the advantage and breach intentionally interfering with the veterans ability to collect quo. Always remember people, the government has been holding these meetings, testimony and talk for decades, repeating themselves like a broken record! It never changes..........The VA puts a spoke back in when its caught and than pulls out another one to keep you feeling crazy and chasing your tail.........this interferes with veterans freedom, choice, pursuit of happiness and meaningful and fulling economic opportunities.......All by design.........! Always remember, when your discharged you have no obligation to the government and you can speak up as much as you choose.......There is nothing that binds you to the idea your forever in service to the government as a forced LAB RAT!

Can VetComm help with BDD claims?

Nothing Mr. Ramsey said was unreasonable. Renting is not throwing money away as long as the rent is less than a typical mortgage. If your are renting a luxury apartment for several thousand dollars, then I agree. Dave gave him great advice. The soldier was not ready to buy a home. This is a bad example to critize Dave.

Anybody have experience with Ree Medical? I’ve heard their one time upfront price is much lower (3-4K) compared to a lot of companies. I’ve heard only positive reviews and significant increases from everybody I’ve talked to.

We got a VA loan and put down $100K. That was only to get it to a price we could easily afford and have skin in the game.

I used my VA loan two years ago. Ramsey has decent points but many of them are assuming lots of things that could be true or not. The biggest problem was sellers assuming VA loans are bad. Competing with all cash and conventional loans was very hard in a "hot" market.

How many times do we have to remake the same video?

Hey, I’m curious if you have the old criteria for ratings for GERD/IBS before the changes the were made. I filed a claim for GERD/IBS before the changes were made and don’t feel like I was rated fairly for the new rating schedule. They should have rated me on both rating schedules since I applied before the changes were made. Thank you so much! I love your videos!

So I just got on at DOGE SPACE and got in as a speaker. I asked them about VA and them working with Collin’s, lots of Veterans are concerned : he said: Yes at some point they’ll be looking at VA, but down the list, they’re hitting blatant waste on departments, low Hanging fruit, they reiterated they’re only looking at waste spending and where they can eliminate it even with VA. They absolutely know Veterans Benefits are earned and not considered waste. They want to only make VA more efficient. Food for thought

Are you saying that you can’t file if it’s been over 26 years since you were discharged?
