I after a hydrocele have had a 30mm cyst form around the testicular appendage on the right testicle as well as some swelling on the lateral aspect, is this safe to remove if it is causing me problems

Once surgery is done, is there any recurrence chances sir? Please guide.

My son had this cyst drained twice and then finally had the whole area removed like this. He also had the fistula. He was a grown man and I had to help him keep it clean and pack it daily. It’s was gross and bloody. But he’s gone several years now without anymore problems.

The worst pain I’ve ever experienced was when I was around 22, on a road trip, when my butt suddenly became so sore I had to sit on one cheek. I. Wait. The worst pain was when I went to my doctor the next day and he cut this thing out and packed it in the office, with no local anesthesia! This was 1978. We kids had always called him Dr Mengela for good reason! I screamed bloody murder. Children in the waiting room hid under their parents’ chairs. You can’t imagine the pain, but thankfully, it never came back.
